Another sale of this one. The beach is not often so quiet.

This beautiful beach is on the Moray Firth in NE Scotland, and we spent a happy hour here listening to the calls of the seals out on the sandbanks by the river mouth. (The River Findhorn empties into the Firth just here) Sony Alpha 350 DSLR single RAW tonemapped in Photomatix Pro3

Looking north from the western side of Windermere, England's longest natural lake, in the Lake District National Park. The Fairfield Horseshoe is a 10.2 mile walk taking in the summits of half a dozen fells. It dominates the skyline above Ambleside at the head of the lake. Sony A68 DSLR, 18-55 lens

My favourite ferry keeps selling ( and sailing). Another one for February and I can't wait until June when I am back on it.

The Loch Seaforth ( Gaelic Loch Siophort) at Ullapool. This is the ferry that goes from Ullapool in the NW Highlands to Stornoway on the Island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
