𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧 & 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐫 🌾

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Mirren and Connor’s wedding celebration at Dudgeley Farm in Church Stretton this weekend, and what a beautiful day it was!

Having already said “I do” on Thursday, this day was all about exactly what they wanted it to be, a relaxed celebration surrounded by the people they love most.

They welcomed everyone together and spent the day surrounded by family and friends, soaking up every moment of this wonderful celebration.

Set against the rolling Shropshire hills, Dudgeley Farm always provides the most incredible backdrop for a day filled with laughter, delicious food, endless ice cream, and even some appearances from their four-legged family member, who made sure no one took themselves too seriously.

It couldn’t have been a more perfect reflection of Mirren and Connor, warm, laid-back, and full of love. A wonderful reminder that weddings don’t have to follow tradition to be truly special.

Congratulations to you both, and thank you for allowing me to capture such a happy celebration. 🤍

𝐉𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐡 🪻

12 months after John proposed to Steph at the beautiful Dorothy Clive Garden, they returned to the place where it all began and promised forever 💜

From the timeless charm of Sugnall Hall in the morning, to the breathtaking gardens at Dorothy Clive by the afternoon, this whole day felt like stepping into a painting. Everywhere you turned there were explosions of colour, incredible blooms, and the most magical laburnum arch.

We spent the day dodging the rain between showers, somehow always finding the perfect pockets of light ☔️🌿

One of my favourite moments came during John’s speech when he said to Steph, “you snuck effortlessly into my life, and I cannot remember life without you.”
The loveliest people, surrounded by so much colour and love ✨

Spring was absolutely blooming in Shrewsbury for Ben & Micah Pre-Wedding shoot yesterday 🌺 ❤️

We strolled all Shrewsbury and the Quarry, and these two had me smiling (and, yes, carrying Micah’s bag)! They’ve got the kind of effortless chemistry that makes me count down the days until their wedding in September 😍

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲

The nerves disappear.
The timeline slows down for a second.
And people finally get to breathe.

Nobody is thinking about posing anymore.

You’re just married.

That’s when the real moments usually happen.

The massive smiles walking back down the aisle.
The chaos and excitement.
The hugs from family.
The “we actually did it” feeling.

As a wedding photographer, these are the moments I’m always watching for.

“𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘁”

Honestly, I hear this all the time.
And I completely get it.

Most couples don’t want to spend their wedding day performing for a camera.
They want to actually be present in it.

Yes, “plandid” is definitely part of modern wedding photography.

I’ll guide you into the best light.
I’ll help with where to stand.
Sometimes I’ll lightly direct a moment so it photographs naturally.

But then I let things breathe.

Because the best photos usually happen afterwards.

The laughs between poses.
The moments when you forget the camera exists.
The quiet ones.
The chaotic ones.
The hand squeezes.
The in-between moments.

The moments that feel like you.

I never want your wedding day to feel like one long photoshoot.

I want it to feel like your wedding day.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 & 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Black & white photography isn’t going anywhere.

Not because it’s nostalgic, but because it strips everything back to what actually matters.

Light.
Connection.
Emotion.

No distractions, no competing colours, just a moment exactly as it felt.

In a world where everything is louder, faster, brighter… sometimes less says more.

I still find myself drawn to it, especially for the moments that feel the most real.

Curious… which do you prefer? Colour or black & white?

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗵𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 🎉😅

Here’s a little photo sequence from Natasha and Loy’s confetti walk… I couldn’t not share this.

I always make sure everyone’s lined up and ready, and usually give a quick heads up to throw the confetti up and over rather than straight into the couples face!

Safe to say… Nan didn’t get the memo this time!

Enjoy 😂

Six months to go for Oliver & Katy 🥂

We met up in Birmingham for at the beginning of 2026 for their pre-wedding shoot, and honestly, it’s one of my favourite parts of the whole journey. Not just for the photos (although… they absolutely smashed those), but because it gives you a chance to slow things down a bit. No timelines, no pressure, just the two of you getting comfortable in front of the camera.

By the time the wedding rolls around, it all feels easy, natural, and way more you.

Roll on the big day 🙌
