When’s the best time for a newborn photoshoot?

I get asked this ALL THE TIME. Honestly, it is totally up to you. If you are wanting to capture that newborn scrunch and curly poses then anytime between 5 days and 3 weeks is ideal. However, just because you have ‘missed’ that window doesn’t mean that you should abandon photos altogether! There are all sorts of reasons why you might not want or be able to get photos in those first few weeks and all are totally valid. With an older newborn session we get lots of different moments, most notably is your baby being more awake! This means gorgeous wide-eyed shots, early smiles and chubby cheeks.

Oh, and do I do twins sessions? Yes 😍
And can your older child come along too? Also, yes!
