LINDSEY & DAMIAN// See the big smiles on these two? They wore them alllllll day long. Their happiness was absolutely contagious as they danced, sang and partied their way through the day- apt as they got married on stage!! SARAH & STEVEN// The cutest little wedding at St George’s Hall last week! S&S met at an Electric Six gig, so of course they danced back down the aisle to this banger, and we absolutely had to make a mini pilgrimage to , the venue they met in, during their portrait photos! Thank you so much Sarah and for having me!

I’m back in the office (in the garden, obviously) today after three weddings last week and a busy bank holiday so I’ll be catching up with previews, emails and enquiries today! Enjoy the sunshine ☀️!

SHAUNA & JORDAN// A weird fact about Liverpool is that it is the only city with two cathedrals on the same street, less than a mile apart. In the last almost 10 years of wedding photography, I’d only photographed a wedding in the Anglican. That was until Shauna and Jordan invited me along to capture their gorgeous ceremony at Lutyens Crypt, in the Metropolitan cathedral, or as it’s lovingly known, Paddy’s Wigwam. It was an absolute joy to capture their day- these two actually first dated as teenagers, which I just love. They filled the fabulous with colour, with the help of the amazing and had a gorgeous celebration full of laughter tears, fun and dancing. Thank you so much and for having me along!!

HEATHER & MATT// Oh these two! I absolutely love when you meet a couple so obviously besotted with each other. This gorgeously relaxed (Big Chills™️) wedding was a perfect celebration of that, complete with a beautifully emotional ceremony, a wander by the docks for portraits (scroll to see some hilarious ones with a dubious animal sculpture!), dinner at and cocktails named after their cat. It was such a joy to be part of, thank you so much and Matt!

This day was also such a reminder of what a joy it is to be a Liverpool photographer. Not only was everyone on the street wolf whistling and complimenting the gorgeous pair, but it reminded me how lucky we are to have so many fab locations in such a small city. There were five venues in play on this day, from getting ready, through to dancing, and each of them was full of lovely friendly scousers and the best atmosphere. Can’t wait to be back in Liverpool for another wedding today!!

It’s a super cheesy truth, but your wedding photography isn’t just there for you to look back on straight after the wedding. It’s a future investment. You’ll be enjoying your wedding photos for ten, twenty, even fifty years or more, and passing them down to future generations.

When I look at my family’s wedding photos, the ones that I love the most aren’t the posed portraits or groups. They’re the little snaps that capture a moment, an emotion, a little snapshot of the gorgeous sparkly feeling they feel on the day.

That’s exactly why I capture your day the way I do. I want to capture all the joy, all the tears all of the energy of the day, and bundle it up into a gorgeous story for you to enjoy for generations. I want to capture photos that show what your wedding FELT like, not just what it looked like.

LUCY & DAN// When you see the pics, I think you’ll understand why I’m still reeling from this one! WHAT. A. DAY. Any trip to the ICONIC is amazing but this one was so special. The styling was insane, the emotions were high and it was just the loveliest group of people you could ever hope to spend the day around.

Oh and their incredibly cute dog Zeppelin was the absolute star of the show too. I loved the pink, the movie theme (complete with cinema curtains on the stunning Giraffe Shed window), the sparkles and the incredible music so much, and even the rain couldn’t put a dampener on the crazy party. Plus there were grazing platters, pancakes and fish n’chips.

Pinch me please, how is this my job?? Thank you so much and for having me along, and the wonderful Hannah at for being the best and looking after us so well.

I’M NOT GOING TO SNEAK OUT STRAIGHT AFTER THE FIRST DANCE// 🪩
Why not? Because the first few songs is never where the good stuff happens. The first few songs are a bit reserved, people are finding their feet, and the band are deciding what’s going to get the party going. I like to stay for AT LEAST an hour- you’re all feeling looser by then, the drinks are flowing, and I can sneak in and grab all the up close and personal epic dancing shots. Plus, let’s face it, I’ll probably join in. So get on your dancing shoes, you sexy little swine. I want to capture all of it!!

Bonus tip- your guests will dance if you do, so if you want a banging dance floor, prepare to get right at home there yourself!
