Photo editing:

A camera doesn’t really have an idea of what you’ve just captured, or even whether it really needs any camera editing applied. It doesn't know whether it would look better with less contrast or whether the amount of saturation it has applied is just making that colour cast on the subject's face worse. All it can do is blindly apply a pre-set level of editing and hope for the best.

Photo editing can be a way of getting a second chance to get the image the way you would have wanted to capture it in-camera.

Editing is also another way you can put your own personal stamp on an image. Certainly, it's not just editing that allows you to do that, but it is another way of making your way of viewing the world stand out, or have a certain feel that makes the image feel like "you".

Photo editing is another way for you to tell your story, or get across what you were trying to capture when you took the photo. What you capture in the camera sometimes does not accurately reflect that moment. Firstly, because we might not get our settings quite right in camera, but also because you can enhance a mood or a general feeling in processing that you will never really be able to fully capture in camera.

I had the pleasure to film a beautiful wedding yesterday, and my first time doing so I felt pretty nervous, but I feel that the results are really good, made a little preview in black and white to Anthony Hopkins' quote from the movie "Meet Joe Black", so what do you guys think? I thought I'd share my little insight on photo altering apps such as snapchat, Instagram or Facebook. As much as I don't mind them and it's absolutely fine to take pictures and have fun with them, excessive use of these apps can change how you perceive yourself. While it would be amazing to have perfect skin, big eyes and lashes and be all symmetric, unfortunately in real life that's not the case. We all have flaws but we should learn to accept them and be proud of our looks because we are all unique and beautiful and just a little make up, nice hairstyle and the right lighting can enhance your natural beauty.

Problem with over using these type of apps is that whenever you see yourself in an unedited photo, you instantly think there's something not right with your face or body. This may upset you because you're used to seeing your perfect self in an altered way. So be mindful when taking pictures with snapchat and remember that the image you see is not real ❤️

Photo shoots are exciting but can make you feel nervous at the same time. If you're not experienced in modelling, you might feel uncomfortable at first, hence I like a relaxed atmosphere. I guide the model to get the best results but I also want them to enjoy the whole experience.

Everyone sees themselves differently and I want my models to be satisfied with the photos I take, so you can view them on the go to control how you look. Later, as I edit the photos, I send selected previews via messaging service to let you monitor the progress and I take every suggestion into consideration so that you are 100% happy with the end result.
