After a day of driving in relentless rain we made it to the Norfolk Broads National Park. A brief window of dry weather was enough to get out and explore, and scenes like this made it worthwhile.

As the sun sinks towards the horizon, an historic windmill/pump house stands watch over the sprawling Norfolk Broads Bathed in the warm glow of the evening light, the winding waterways branching off the River Thurne and the endless skies, create a scene of timeless beauty and tranquillity.
