I saw this whilst working through my local graveyard, I must have walked passed this a thousand time until now.

Standing proudly in the heart of the Cheshire village of Marbury, this magnificent old oak has clearly witnessed generations come and go. Its huge trunk and sprawling branches create a natural canopy, with the circular bench offering the perfect place to sit and pause (possibly beer in hand as the pub is across the way!)

This weathered sundial stands as a quiet teacher, urging reflection and purpose.
Even as the years pass and the surface fades, its message endures:
Strive while you have the power; work towards perfection.

On the way to work today, I finally stopped to admire the four legendary figures brought to life across a bridge
in the city where it all began. From Birmingham to the world, the sound of heavy metal was born here. 🖤🤘

My two favourite boys, Bertie’s 12 on the left, an old man now, but still loving every day, and George 8, still like a puppy, no matter where we go, they get all the attention, I can’t see why ! 😂

Standing for centuries, Conwy Castle has withstood battles, storms and change but still stands proud guarding the entry to the River Conwy and this wonderfully medical UNESO Heritage site.
