There are so many incredibly talented photographers out there, and of course, creating beautiful photographs is at the heart of what I do. But what I offer is so much more than that.
After more than two decades, I’ve learnt that the photographs are only part of what makes a great wedding photography experience. It’s also about everything that happens around the photographs.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to have photographed hundreds of weddings over the years, in all sorts of places and circumstances, and that experience has taught me that no two wedding days are ever quite the same. Things don’t always go to plan and that’s OK.
It’s about knowing when to step in and when to step back. Knowing how to handle the unexpected, read a room, anticipate what’s coming next and quietly make things work without anyone even noticing. To be that calm and reassuring voice when you need it.
Most importantly, it’s about making sure you feel completely relaxed and looked after while I’m doing what I’m there to do. I genuinely care about making your day the best it can possibly be, and ultimately, I want you to remember how your wedding felt just as much as you remember how it looked.
Some of my favourite days have been spent working alongside the incredibly talented wedding professionals this industry has to offer. I always want to bring the same level of care, experience and professionalism to my part of the day, so that together, everything feels seamless.
Choose the people you completely trust, so you can simply relax, enjoy yourselves and let go.
I’m immensely grateful that this career has allowed me to travel the world, photograph some truly amazing weddings and, most importantly, meet some of the most wonderful people along the way.
Thank you to every couple who has trusted me to be part of one of the biggest days of their lives. I never take it for granted. Here’s to many more fantastic celebrations!
