No sounds because you’re in an electric game viewing vehicle, just you and this.

Get your volume up for 30 seconds of the most primal sound in Africa. It triggers a base instinctual response, and it’s a sound you literally feel through your body. Lions typically roar early in the morning when it’s still cold, helping their roar travel further.

From the most extraordinary morning of photography I’ve had in a very long time. No other vehicles present. The sun adding so much impact just as it crests the horizon. It was so cold the lions themselves were literally steaming in the cool air. Zambia you are incredible.
