After a lovey meet up, chat and bite to eat at the The Coffee Bothy with Sarah C Deere-Jones and Adrian Trendall, we headed for a quick trip to Elgol and bumped into Carollyn McDonald :-) Very moody views over there and sad to see storm damage to the school perimeter wall and beach access.

Whilst I was down at Sconser bay surveying seagrass, my seaweed design tote bags arrived :-) Currently getting them on organic cotton but looking for more sustainable materials.

A bit of an interesting drive back into the Glen this morning. The gearbox in the van suddenly stopped being able to select a gear. The gearstick just went floppy. Fortunately, it was stuck in 3rd gear, so I was luckily able to make it home.

As, it was quite a nice afternoon......I headed to the beach for some therapy haha.

I was pleased to see the usual Oyster catchers. One, has a bad foot or leg and always limps but we've been seeing it for years. He would wind a prize for speed limping, I think. I love seeing and hearing them and they don't seem too worried by me getting close enough to photos them.
