Atlantic Puffin - Isle of Lunga

Taken last week on the Isle of Lunga. I waited for the light to soften and for the dull white sky to create a natural high-key background. That allowed me in LR, to push the whites further and isolate the puffin against the empty space to create a more minimalist feel.
Rather than a traditional wildlife image showing habitat and detail, I wanted this to feel calmer and more fine-art focussed - reducing distractions and letting the shape, texture and colours of the puffin become the subject
