Morning horse fans, just a few more shots from Saturday's Presentation & Routier day for CIAT Ashfields at Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club.

The time and dedication taken by drivers and their support is huge but the result is nothing short of spectacular. If you ever get the chance to watch some Attelage I suggest you do so!

Just a bit of fun this morning. I'm liking seeing more and more Concours classes at horse shows and they really appeal me just like dressing up-style photo shoots and Traditional carriage driving. Maybe its too much Downton Abbey or something...

Anyway, here is Mary channeling her inner Poldark vibes but instead of being in a manege in Norfolk, we are now in a stormy Cornwall...

Well, I wanted to put a couple of extra-edited shots from Sunday's show at Croft Farm Riding Centre up on here but it has taken me ages to whittle it down to just 11 so here are 11 !

A little off topic, but still very much part of our Forest Equine Escapes family…

One of our lovely loan horses, Puzzle, will be heading home to his owner at the beginning of next month. He has been a wonderful addition to our herd and ticks almost every box for life here, but unfortunately he isn’t coping well with the amount of grass we have.

As a result, we now have a retirement livery space available for a horse or pony to join our small herd of one mare and one gelding.

We are looking for a horse that can happily manage good grazing, so unfortunately no EMS or laminitis-prone horses. They will enjoy 24/7 turnout on our sandy, free-draining soil with no mud, alongside friendly companions. Ideally, they will be calm, sociable, and mix well with others.

Your horse will never be left on their own and will be cared for as if they were one of our own.

If this sounds like it could be the perfect retirement home for your horse or pony, please send me a message and we can have a chat 🩷

I want to thank everyone for being so friendly and welcoming, plus a special thanks to Carla, Heather and Daisy for asking me over.

As usual there are a range of photo options, from instant digital downloads or physical prints that are delivered a few days later direct from the lab. I am also able to further edit photos for no extra cost should you want me to.

Finally as there are a lot of photos of everyone, should you have difficulty choosing you can buy all of your high resolution photos for just £40 - please contact me to do this as it isn't an option on my shop at the moment.

I think this picture sums the atmosphere up perfectly...
