1 Week Wed | Charlotte & Craig | Dunston Hall 🍂

After many years together and raising their three children, Charlotte and Craig finally made it official! Such a lovely celebration. Their son had the special honour of walking his mum down the aisle and being best man, while their girls looked beautiful as bridesmaids.

Burgundy was the perfect colour for an autumn wedding, although the two named storms certainly tested us! 🌧️💨 We managed a very quick trip out in the golf buggies before the wind and rain sent us back inside. But a little forward planning (and my studio lights!) meant we could create some lovely family photos in the hotel foyer, safely away from the wind and rain.
The celebrations continued with a delicious five-course wedding breakfast and a casino-themed evening, complete with money featuring Charlotte and Craig's faces on it! Such a fun and personal touch!

Charlotte and Craig, it was a real pleasure to capture such a special milestone for you and your family.

One Week Wed! Darren & Merrie at Cley Windmill 💍

What a gorgeous setting for a lovely little wedding!

Darren and Merrie tied the knot at the amazing Cley Windmill, with that coastal breeze, incredible Norfolk views and the most beautiful backdrops for their photographs.

Their intimate celebration was full of thoughtful touches, delicious afternoon tea, games and those little details that make a wedding truly personal.

A relaxed afternoon, lots of love and a setting that’s hard to beat. Congratulations, Darren & Merrie! 🥂

Georgie & Joe | A beautiful September wedding in Bury St Edmunds
What a gorgeous afternoon celebrating Georgie & Joe's wedding!
With a lovely 4pm ceremony at Bury St Edmunds Registry Office, set on Angel Hill, we couldn't have asked for better weather. The late September sunshine was still warm and bright, with the town buzzing with visitors.
After the ceremony, we headed into the beautiful Abbey Gardens for ice creams, family photos, a few glasses of fizz and plenty of celebrations as the sun began to set.
We found some lovely spots for family and friends' photos before Georgie, Joe and I wandered around the gardens, making the most of the colourful flowers, historic abbey ruins and the cathedral as our backdrop. The golden evening light was just perfect!
The celebrations continued at Folk in Fornham St Martin's, where everyone came together for a fabulous wedding breakfast and buffet. Such a personal, relaxed reception, with a fantastic team who couldn't do enough for everyone. There was plenty of cake, a brilliant DJ who soon filled the dance floor, and even a LEGO guest book!
No first dance, no big formalities, just a wonderful afternoon and evening.
Georgie & Joe, thank you for letting me be part of your special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!

A beautiful September wedding in Hadleigh, Suffolk

1 Week Wed!

Annie & Jonathan’s wedding was one of those lovely days where the smiles just never stopped!
They were married at the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Hadleigh, before heading to Hadleigh Town Hall to celebrate with friends and family who had travelled from France, Germany and much further afield to be part of their special day.
The September sunshine was absolutely perfect, and the grounds around St Mary’s Church provided some gorgeous opportunities for photographs. I particularly loved the personal touch of their home-grown wedding flowers.
I was only with Annie & Jonathan for a few hours, but we managed to capture so many memories. It’s a great reminder that you don’t have to have your wedding photographer there all day to get a beautiful set of photographs.

What a beautiful September wedding for Annie & Jonathan!
Friends and family travelled all the way from France and Germany to celebrate with them and these two didn’t stop smiling all day!
Their ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Hadleigh was followed by a wonderful reception at Hadleigh Town Hall, with the September sunshine showing off the church grounds beautifully. I especially loved that their flowers were home-grown despite the dry summer they looked amazing.
If you’re planning a wedding in Hadleigh or Suffolk and wondering how many hours you actually need a photographer for… don’t worry! I was only there for a few hours, but we still captured so much.
Sometimes a few well chosen hours are all you need.

Amba & Matt 🤍🌧️
Amba started the day at home with her parents, family and daughter Winnie, she was feeling every bit of those wedding-day nerves! Matt and Amba didn't want a huge ceremony, so a small and intimate wedding at Stowmarket Registry Office was absolutely perfect. I met Iveta from The Forever Captured Studio who was great company on the day capturing all the content for Amba & Matt.
Matt was there with his best man Sam, while Amba had her Man of Honour, George. With Winnie, their parents and grandmothers there to share those special moments, it was a truly personal ceremony.
And then came the rain… 🌧️ ALL day!
But did that stop them? Absolutely not!
Back to Amba’s parents’ home, where their friends were waiting in the rain for the celebrations to begin in the teepee. A hog roast, games, plenty of laughter, dancing and one seriously good party followed when the DJ Nick Chatten got everyone on the dance floor!
It may have rained from beginning to end, but it certainly didn’t dampen the celebrations. A small, relaxed and incredibly special wedding day filled with the people who mattered most.

Carrying loved ones with you..
Wedding flowers can be so much more than beautiful blooms. Adding a little photo charm or keepsake is a beautiful way to have someone special close by on your wedding day.
A little reminder that although they may not be there in person, they are still very much part of your story as was the case for my bride Leanne and the small locket containing a photo of her grandad.
