It's that time year when my unpaid and long suffering side kick for nursery Xmas shoots "Mr Monster" gets to model the studio style background and test my white balance for a shoot.
Although I do both outdoor and indoor Nursery shoots he only gets to sneak along in my flash bag on the indoor shoots.
He's been with me for about 15 years and his squeaker still works so neither of us have any complaints. I find myself relying on an early childhood menagerie of puppets on tv to recollect which puppet behaviour can sometimes unlock a smile from a reluctant 2 year old. He's a bit Rod Hull's "Emu" on occasion but more Bungle, Zippy and George on others :-)

Started my pre-Christmas nursery shoots this morning at PlayTime Pre-School. I'm always impressed by the professionalism of the staff, and really enjoy taking shots of the wonderful kids enjoying themselves there. As a parent myself I'm always hoping to give the other parents an insight into the fun their children have in this wonderful pre-school setting :-)

Lot's of lovely photo shoots last week, today I'm busy editing a session in Brancaster for a lovely family visiting from the lovely county of Derbyshire!
