Late evening walks along the downs 🍂 This is the area to which Fiver, Hazel and co make their way after Fiver’s premonition at Sandleford in Richard Adams' Watership Down. Author Richard Adams was born in Newbury and chose to set the story just south of the town on the downs towards Kingsclere.
