Starting to get the itch for photography back after almost 2 years. Lundy Bay last night. HDR merge due to shooting onto the sun. Now that I live in Cornwall I dont have much excuse not to get out.

Missed the entire season of Autumn (probably the best season for me) as life got in the way and itching to get back out with the camera. Thought this scene looked pleasant whilst cycling the boyo to nursery so grabbed a quick shot on the phone.

A couple of shots I had taken whilst out on a walk by the canal. Nothing amazing but I thought they were pleasant enough. Something id like to really get better at is macro.

One from the lake where we camped. The morning started off pretty drab but as the sun rose some mist came in over the lake. The geese seem to migrate elsewhere during the day when it gets busy and I liked how this one captured some as they left for the day.

Just got back from a great break camping with the family. Managed to get out a few times with the camera and hopefully have a few shots to share. This was from my first evening out, at Trevose Head. Was great to get out on the coast again.

Havent beem out with the camera much for a good while but it was nice to be able to capture this little chap in my back garden. It just sat there for a good while allowing me to go whack the macro lens on the camera and still get a few shots in before it flew away.

Decided to head down to the derelict Birnbeck pier on Sunday evening as the sun was going to set directly behind it. The conditions seemed pretty dreary to be honest but as the sun passed the horizon the sky lit up as if on fire, but only for a few minutes. Used an ND 64 on this one to allow me to smooth the rough sea. This is also a HDR stack (a bit marmite) as I couldn't use a grad to correctly expose both sky and foreground/pier.
