Chicom Monday.

First image isn't my chest rig but I love the style for SMG mags.

The second is my project I've been working on and has turned a cheap chicom into a very versatile and comfortable chest rig. The addition of molle alone means I can use this for all sorts of situations. Including camera work.

Always more that I want to add.

Continuing the discussion of effective camouflage.

This kid probably didn't think his grey high Street hoodie would work in the woodlands of Britain but it's practically the cloaking device from predator next to this shack.

Goes to show, all camo's usefulness relies on your ability, knowledge and luck occasionally.

Also think this photo highlights the difference in the effectiveness of camos in British woodland. The darker tones of the flecktarn guy behind (in my opinion) suit the tones we live around.

I'm sure MTP would be a lot more effective in the typical environments the British army find themselves in these days but for Airsoft purposes it has the opposite effect to the intended.

Quick look at the Silverback Tac 41.

Out of the box this looks and feels superbly put together. The polymer stock feels sturdy and there are no visible join lines unlike cheaper brands.

The bolt assembly is beautifully polished and easy to love when fitted.

The magazines seem of a high quality also and I love the care taken with the packaging. You can tell that just like the SRS, they are proud of their products.

This hasn't been shot yet and will be fully reviewed after it's been taken out for a few games.

I know a lot of people swear by the SRS as an out of the box contender against an upgraded VSR. Time will tell of the Tac 41 deserves to be up there as a third option to those looking to get into Airsoft sniping.
