Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I actually want my business to give me… beyond the numbers, the growth, or how it looks from the outside.

I love creating. I love working with people. I want to grow and do meaningful work.

But I also want a life that feels spacious. Time to be present. Room to create without constantly producing. The freedom to follow what feels right, even when it doesn’t look like the obvious next move.

I’m realising that building a business isn’t only about learning what works.

Sometimes it’s about unlearning all the things you thought you had to do to be successful and defining what success actually means to you.

Still learning. Still unlearning. 🤍

Lately, I’ve been struggling to show up consistently on here for my business.

Not because I don’t love what I do. Not because I’m giving up on my business. But simply because I haven’t had the capacity to hold everything at once.

As business owners, we’re often told that consistency is everything. That we should always be visible, always creating, always growing. We start believing that we need to have it all together all the time.

But the truth is, we’re not machines.

Behind every business is a human being navigating real life, real emotions, real challenges, and real seasons of change.

Some days we feel inspired and energized. Other days we’re just trying to get through what’s in front of us. And both are valid.

I think it’s time we normalize the fact that showing up doesn’t always look the same. Sometimes showing up means posting every day. Sometimes it means taking a step back, resting, and trusting that your work will still be there when you’re ready to return.

Your worth as a business owner is not always measured by how visible you are online.

So if you’ve been feeling guilty for not showing up the way you think you “should,” this is your reminder: you’re allowed to be human.
