It looks like something out of a movie but it is completely real!!! 💯

In November 2025, astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy captured an image that seems too impossible to be true. It shows his friend Gabriel C. Brown, a YouTuber and musician known as BlackGryph0n, in free fall directly across the face of the sun. The photograph, titled "The Fall of Icarus," is the result of months of planning and a level of precision that McCarthy himself described as "absolutely preposterous."

The two friends came up with the idea after a skydiving trip, wondering if they could capture a human silhouette against the sun's fiery surface. The ex*****on was even more difficult than the planning. Brown jumped from a small propeller-powered aircraft at approximately 3,500 feet. McCarthy used a modified hydrogen-alpha telescope that could capture the sun's chromosphere, the fiery outer atmosphere invisible in normal white light, giving the image its dramatic, textured backdrop. The telescope had a narrow field of view, so the pilot had to make six passes to get the aircraft into the perfect position. McCarthy only had one actual jump attempt because repacking the parachute would have taken too long for another try. The alignment was coordinated in real time through a three-way communication between McCarthy, the pilot, and Brown.

When Brown finally jumped and McCarthy saw the silhouette appear on his monitors, he shouted "I got it, dude!" He described the photo as one of the top five images he has ever captured. The final image is so surreal that McCarthy called it the "most preposterously fake-looking real photo" he has ever taken, and it has been widely recognized as possibly the first photograph of its kind in existence.

In August 2026, Costa Rican surf instructor Diego Jiménez gave his beloved dog Thai one final trip to the ocean after 16 years together.

Thai had been battling cancer, and when the time came to say goodbye, Diego carried him onto a surfboard, scattered flower petals around him, and let the waves become their final shared place.

Diego later wrote, “See you soon… we will always feel each other, in every wave, in every sunset, always in the sea.”

Their farewell touched millions online because it was more than a goodbye. It was one last moment in the place where so many of their happiest memories had been made.

Sixteen years of friendship, one final wave, and a love the ocean could never wash away.

WOW: In Concórdia, Brazil, a little dog got trapped under tons of earth and debris after a wall collapsed. He spent more than a day buried, while his family waited in anguish for any sign that he was still alive.

When it already seemed impossible to find him, a faint bark broke the silence. The neighbors heard it and immediately sought help.

The Volunteer Firefighters and Civil Defense arrived at the scene and began a complicated operation to locate him and pull him out from under the rubble.

After long hours of effort, what everyone had been hoping for happened: the little one was rescued alive!
