I'm in the doghouse again... It's been weeks since our lovely foster galga, Milagros, went to her forever home and I completely forgot to share the news of her Gotcha Day.

Anyhow today is exactly a month since she first met the man who became her forever dad (and the rest was history...). Please join me in wishing dearest Milagros (Mimi) all the happiness in the world.

What an appalling oversight! I posted the whippet puppy who had recently joined her family but completely forgot to post the beautiful Sadie. Am I guilty of discrimination against saluki types?! Or being ageist (in the presence of puppies everyone melts after all)? None of those things, actually, just overwhelmed with other stuff and forgetful. Still better late than never, please show some love to the very beautiful Sadie, saluki cross, sublimely beautiful, my kind of dog.

Hunstanton lavender fields at their very best right now. With our beautiful lurcher Polly, sporting a coordinating tweed collar from Silver Peacock. Apologies for the untidy lead and tracker - it was all taken in a bit of a rush because we none of us wanted to be out in the heat for too long!

Let's play guess the mix...

I reckon I'm normally pretty good at guessing the mix of breeds in sighthound crosses. But Tino here has me stumped. Maybe some whippet based on his size. But for the rest of his make up I have no idea! Thoughts? I'll add full body shot in the comments to help with guesses...

Though it looks as though Polly has trampled through swathes of bluebells to make this picture, I promise you she did not. Look closely on a full screen image and all the hints that show how we did this are there in plain sight.

But thankfully March is nearly finished with us, the temperatures will be turning warmer, and clocks go forward tonight. Winter is on the run at last!

I wouldn't say Dilys is the prettiest labrador I've ever photographed. I've photographed a lot of gorgeous labradors and it would be unfair to single any particular dog out. But I have to admit...

Dilys is up there with the best of them!
