This is from the 2026 farm calendar. There have been twp breeding pairs here this year and they have had three clutches of chicks between them.
With all the stuff that's been happening recently, I'd totally forgotten about the 2027 calendar images, which should have been at the printers by the end of June. Thankfully, the guys in charge of production really helped me out and I'm pleased to say there will be a 2027 calendar after all. Phew!

Buzzard being mobbed by a lapwing.
There were 15 other lapwings all doing the same, taking turns to dive at the predator. The buzzard eventually flew off without a snack.
