Fresh back from their holiday, feeling relaxed, refreshed, and still not quite knowing what day of the week it was... 😅☀️ Leah & Luke arrived at Rother Valley ready for their engagement photoshoot, still in full holiday mode!

Like many people, Luke admitted he was feeling a little nervous beforehand. it’s completely normal when you’ve never had professional photos taken before. But within minutes, those nerves disappeared, and he absolutely smashed it! 👏

These two were so much fun to photograph. We explored the beautiful lakeside at Rother Valley, shared plenty of laughs with a few of my favourite prompts, and captured lots of genuine smiles, cuddles, and those little moments that make your relationship unique.

Can we also appreciate their outfits? Their holiday wardrobe definitely made an appearance, and they both looked incredible against the summer scenery. 🌿✨

And after all that hard work in front of the camera? There was only one way to celebrate... a well earned Nando’s! 🍗😂

Some couples just have a connection that’s impossible to miss... and Sophie & Casey are definitely one of them. ❤️

These two beautiful souls do almost everything together. Sharing the same hobbies, interests, and adventures makes it so easy to see why they fit together so perfectly. They genuinely enjoy each other’s company, and it shines through in every photograph.

They were absolute stars throughout their engagement session at the beautiful Wollaton Park, happily embracing every prompt I threw their way, even the slightly silly ones! 😂 The best moments often come when you let go, have fun, and simply enjoy being together.

My favourite part of the session? The way they look at each other. It’s filled with pure love, admiration, and that quiet comfort that comes from finding your person. Those are the moments I love capturing most.

I’m so grateful to have been part of this chapter in Sophie & Casey’s journey and to preserve these memories for them. 💍✨

What an absolute joy these two were to photograph! From the moment we met, they were laughing together, making each other smile, and simply enjoying every second of being together.

Katherine admitted she was feeling a little nervous before the photoshoot, but honestly... you would never have known! She was a complete natural in front of the camera. And can we all just take a moment to appreciate her incredibly long, gorgeous Pocahontas-like hair? 😍 Absolutely stunning!

We spent a beautiful sunny afternoon exploring Wollaton Park, capturing genuine laughter, quiet moments, and the wonderful connection they share. It’s sessions like these that remind me that the best photographs come from simply being yourselves.

Katherine had only moved from Liverpool a few months before, so it was lovely hearing how much she’s enjoying getting to know Nottingham and discovering all the beautiful places it has to offer.

I’m so grateful to be a small part of Katherine and Simon’s wedding journey. Spending time with such kind, genuine people and documenting this exciting chapter in their lives is exactly why I love what I do. I already can’t wait to capture their wedding day! 💍✨

A Moana inspired proposal at Nottingham Highfields Park that felt like it came straight from a Disney storybook 🌊💍

When Hannah proposed to Emily, she wanted to create the same kind of magic that Emily had given her when she proposed on holiday.. an unforgettable moment filled with love, thoughtfulness and all the little details that made it uniquely them.

And she absolutely did that. 🤍

Knowing Emily is a huge Disney fan (just like me!), Hannah chose Moana as the inspiration behind the day. With the help of a friend, she handmade Moana’s necklace and turned it into the most incredible engagement ring box. The level of thought and love behind this was honestly breathtaking, such a personal and romantic touch. 🌺

With the help of Emily’s mum, Hannah secretly booked a rowing boat at Highfields Park in Nottingham and disguised it as a birthday surprise so Emily had no idea what was coming.

The boat was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights, cosy blankets and pillows, creating the perfect setting for Hannah to share her heartfelt speech before asking Emily the most important question on the water. 💕

And Emily’s reaction? Pure happiness. 🥹

But the surprises didn’t stop there…

As they returned to shore, their friends were waiting as the second surprise, ready to celebrate with cake, hugs and happy tears. Then came the final magical moment: their very own private screening of the live action Moana with their favourite people by their side.

And of course… Charlie their dog had to be part of the celebrations too! 🐾

Hannah and Emily, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such a meaningful chapter in your love story. Being able to document moments filled with this much love, creativity and emotion is exactly why I adore what I do.

Congratulations to you both. Your proposal was truly unforgettable.

🐾 Meet the ever youthful Eric! 🧡

At 11 years old, this gorgeous Cockapoo is still living life with the same excitement and curiosity as a puppy. We spent the evening exploring the beautiful Woodthorpe Park, Nottingham, and he made the most of every second.

This was Eric’s second photoshoot with me, and he was just as handsome as ever, especially after his recent groom! We captured lots of cuddles with Mum and Dad, plenty of zoomies (fuelled by treats, of course! ), and those adorable little tongue out smiles that melt your heart.

Eric is definitely food motivated... something he has in common with my Beagle, Shipley! 😂 It always makes for fun, natural moments and plenty of happy expressions. I think I need a treat dangling over the camera next time.

It’s such a privilege when families return for another session. Watching dogs like Eric grow older while preserving these memories is exactly why I love what I do. He truly is the sweetest boy, and it’s always a joy spending time with him. ❤️

✨ A beautiful evening with Lauren and her wonderful family at Elvaston Castle. 💛

Meeting families at the very beginning of a new chapter is always such a privilege, and this session was no exception.

With their beautiful newborn just 6 weeks old, Lauren, a true Wonder Woman, joined me alongside her partner and her eldest son, Benjamin, for their very first professional family photoshoot.

Like many families, there were a few nervous giggles to begin with, but within minutes everyone relaxed and their personalities shone through. We explored the stunning surroundings of Elvaston Castle, stopping at some of my favourite locations to capture natural moments of laughter, cuddles and genuine connection.

And Benjamin... what a superstar! 🌟 He absolutely stole the show. So proud of his new baby sibling, full of smiles, confidence and kindness. If I ever need a child model in the future, I definitely know who I’ll be calling!

The biggest reminder from this session? Childhood doesn’t wait.

One day they’re asking to hold your hand, the next they’re too cool for photos. The days feel long, but the years pass incredibly fast. These photographs become the memories you’ll treasure forever.

The Peak District really showed off for Katie & Alek’s engagement photoshoot! 🤍⛰️

We honestly couldn’t have asked for better weather. Clear blue skies, comfortable temperatures as the heatwave finally started to cool down, and some of the most breathtaking views the Peak District has to offer. Even better, there were far fewer people around than we expected, giving us the perfect opportunity to capture those intimate moments together.

Katie & Alek were an absolute dream to photograph. They are two of the sweetest people, so natural together, and completely embraced all of the fun prompts I threw their way. Their laughter, cuddles and genuine connection made every photograph feel effortless.

These engagement sessions are one of my favourite parts of wedding photography. They give couples a chance to relax in front of the camera before their big day, and by the end of the session it feels like we’re simply out enjoying a walk together.

✨ Ben & Chaniqua’s Engagement Session | Swadlincote 💍☀️

Somehow we picked one of the hottest evenings on record for Ben and Chaniqua’s engagement photoshoot in Swadlincote... and we were absolutely melting! 🥵 But despite the heat, these two were incredible from start to finish.

What stood out most wasn’t the weather, it was the way they looked at each other. The love, laughter, and genuine connection they share made every photograph feel effortless. You can truly see why they’re together, and the beautiful family they’ve built is something really special to witness.

And then there was mummy’s little mini me... 🥹 Oh my goodness, my heart completely melted. This sweet little angel stole the show, became my new best friend, and had us all smiling from ear to ear.

Sessions like this are such a reminder that engagement shoots aren’t just about pretty photos. They’re about capturing your personalities, your story, and the people who mean the most to you before your wedding day.

I honestly cannot wait to photograph Ben and Chaniqua’s wedding and continue telling their story. The only thing I’m hoping for is temperatures a little kinder than this! 🤞😂

🐾💙 A Boy & His Best Friend | Family Photoshoot at Wollaton Park 💙🐾
There’s something incredibly special about the bond between a child and their dog, and this session reminded me exactly why I love photographing families with their four legged best friends.
We met at the beautiful Wollaton Park in Nottingham for a relaxed family photoshoot, exploring the park’s stunning scenery while capturing natural moments along the way. Every corner seemed to offer another perfect backdrop!
One of my favourite moments from the session had everyone laughing.
I told 10 year old Jensen, “Whatever you do... don’t smile!” Normally that’s guaranteed to make someone burst into laughter. But bless him, he took the challenge very seriously and was determined not to crack! 😂
Instead, it was Mum and Dad who couldn’t stop laughing, and Jensen started telling them off because they were this close to making him smile. It was such a genuine, funny moment and one I’m sure they’ll remember for years to come.
Watching Jensen with Spencer was heartwarming. The trust, love and friendship between them was obvious in every interaction. They weren’t just posing for photographs they were simply being themselves, and that’s where the magic happens.
These are the moments that deserve to be printed, framed and enjoyed every day. Childhood doesn’t last forever, but the memories of growing up with your furry best friend certainly should.
