What an absolute pleasure it was to meet you Ally Clarke photography! I had a blast too and loved playing with sun flares and backlight with you :)

Just back from THE best few days in Edinburgh with a group of wonderful photographers. We swapped headshots, we did marketing, we shared stories, we laughed, ate and drank! I feel so happy to be part of such a lovely group.

I just found out I won THREE .photographers awards while I was on holiday!

What exciting news to come home to, especially whilst and I are so hard at work preparing our new retreat!

When your new BFF and business partner sends you the most epic “Dubai Maini-a” gallery of photos from your holiday!

It’s literally 1 week since we met IRL for the first time and we’ve set up a hub for our brand new retreat!

Who’s in??

I went on holiday and came home with a whole lotta work to do! 😆

It’s clear to see that and I hit it off! We met up 3 times whilst I was in Dubai for 9 days with my family!!!

First she showed us around old dubai, we enjoyed finding all kinds of colour around the souks and afterwards came up with the idea of a retreat all about colourful photography, with photo walks, headshots, prisms and lots of creative fun!!!

We ended up meeting for dinner with our families the next day and brainstormed some more over a bottle of Prosecco 🍾

After called us a power duo and said we were the dream team you’ll never believe that I just happened upon these sparkly “Dream Team” t-shirts in a mall after our family trip to the desert on Friday! 😆

Obviously I had to buy them so naturally we had to have more cocktails and another joint family dinner on our last night so I could give it to her 😉🥂🍹

So today I have failed to unpack BUT we finalised on our name, set up Instagram, Facebook, website and email list! 📧

Starting the long journey home and we’ll really miss this place!

So much to explore and we’ve only seen a few of the things we’d like to so we will be back!!!

We need to return to see our new BFFs anyway 😉 !

I never expected to find SO much colour in old Dubai!!!

I loved exploring with (who took that photo of me below for this collaborative diptych) and it got us thinking, especially after ’s comment about us being a power duo 💪🏼🌈🥰

So we’ve been pondering and getting excited about the prospect of a joint retreat.

We’re thinking a colourful photo walk, headshots by us for all participants, and you can ask us ANYTHING about our businesses.

Plus we love playing so we’ll include loads of creative tutorials with prisms, double exposures, you name it we’ve tried it!

We’re obviously in the very early stages of planning but would love to gauge your interest for this.
