Revealing a rare insight into our historic garden, there are only a few days left until our last summer evening garden tour on Wednesday 19 August.

Hosted by gardener Richard, uncover horticultural insights into a history spanning over two hundred years.

Richard says:

‘For centuries the garden has been strategically designed, with species planted to encourage exploration and a constant wonder of what lies around the next corner.'

‘Within the Pleasure Gardens themselves, the planting is designed to hide the Medici Lion from the Michael Drayton Urn - these should never be seen together, but stumbled on whilst strolling past varied beds and displays.’

To book tickets and find out more, visit our website upcoming events page.

Even our sculptures are seeking shade ☀️

With temperatures set to soar again tomorrow, our shops, cafés and restaurant will be closing at 4pm to protect the wellbeing of our visitors and staff.

If you’re planning to visit earlier in the day, stay hydrated, keep cool and be sure to let a member of our team know if you’re feeling unwell.
