It is a choice to be present in your own skin and to honour the space you take up in this world. 🖤

This session was a celebration of that choice and every line and every curve is a testament to the woman she has become. There is an incredible power in just standing still and letting the world see you exactly as you are without any excuses.

It is about the decision to finally see yourself through a kinder lens and to celebrate the person you are right now.
We never truly know what tomorrow brings and the future is never guaranteed so there is no better time than this very moment to accept and embrace who you are. 📸

Every single one of these images was captured in the client’s own bedroom. 🖤

There is a common misconception that you need a professional studio for a bo***ir session but I believe that your own home is the most powerful place to tell your story. It is your safe space and your sanctuary where you can truly let your guard down and feel at ease.

For many women especially those who suffered traumatic experiences, struggle with body image or are neurodivergent, the thought of a studio - an unknown place - can feel overwhelming. Being in a familiar environment removes that layer of anxiety and allows your true essence to shine through. You don’t need a perfect house, you just need your authentic home where you can be honestly and beautifully yourself.

I love bringing this bo***ir experience to you and creating a space where you feel seen and honoured. 🖤

Every woman has a unique beauty within her that does not need to fit any standard or expectation of how we should look to be considered beautiful. I love creating full body bo***ir images in sexy lingerie and I also love the simplicity of a beautiful negligee or even just focusing on a portrait of your face. At In Her Skin Photography the focus is always on what makes you unique and on the essence of who you are. 🖤

Even though we work with the exterior we are really looking to hold onto your aura and your presence so that we can document the soul of the person in front of the lens. These quiet moments in your own home here in Glasgow are where we find the most honest version of you. 🖤

IN HER SKIN | Just a human behind the lens

I know there are many new faces here and I have been a little quiet lately so I wanted to take a moment to say hello and reintroduce myself. 🖤

The last few weeks have been quite a juggle for me between my motherhood photography and my work for agencies alongside In Her Skin Photography. I found myself giving 150 percent until I hit a wall. When you have a brain that loves to hyperfocus it is so easy to work seventy or eighty hours a week without noticing until the battery finally runs out. I realised I had spent so much time working and dealing with unexpected things that I had almost forgotten to take a breath.

But here we are. Welcome to my page. I am Sabrina the photographer behind In Her Skin Photography. 📸

My mission as a bo***ir photographer is to create intimate, honest images that celebrate women as they are. It’s about connecting to yourself, confidence and self love. And whether you already feel home in your body or are still finding your way you are welcome here.

In Her Skin Photography is deeply personal because I have spent my whole life struggling with weight gain and loss confidence and self worth. In a world where appearance unfortunately plays such a huge role and often decides popularity or success it has become so much more important to me the older I get to show other women how beautiful they are in the body they have right now.

You do not have to wait for the perfect moment and you do not have to change yourself especially not for others but only for yourself. Through my photography I want to contribute a small part to that shift in perspective.

Personally, I really dislike it when businesses hide their prices. I hate that feeling of having to get on a call just to find out the cost, only to end up in a situation where it feels awkward to say ‘no’ or where you feel pushed into a decision.

I never want you to feel that way with me.

I don’t believe in sales calls or ‘convincing’ anyone. I believe you should have all the information you need upfront so you can decide, in your own time, if this experience is right for you.

These are my set packages. They are here so there are no surprises. I’m always happy to chat about custom ideas if you have a different vision in mind, but I want you to feel completely in control of the process from the very first second.

There will never be any pressure or any hidden agendas from my side. There is always just pure honesty.

IN HER SKIN | The magic of being yourself

I have spent most of my life adapting to what others expected of me and it is only now as I approach forty that I am truly starting to drop that mask. It is fascinating to see how the world reacts when you decide to be one hundred percent yourself and stop doing things just because they are expected of you. 🖤

This personal journey is exactly why authenticity is at the heart of everything I do with In Her Skin Photography. In such an intimate setting like bo***ir photography I want to capture your true essence rather than a polished version of you. I often advise against heavy makeup or perfect hair because I want to see the person you are when you are alone and unobserved in your own space.

When you invite me into your bedroom, which is your most sacred place, it is my priority to create a sense of safety where you can let every mask fall away. Whether you are quiet or lively or laughing or even crying it does not matter as long as you are real. Seeing a woman truly let go and show her authentic self is the most beautiful thing I get to witness in my work as a bo***ir photographer in Glasgow. 🖤

I know exactly how nerve-wracking it is to even think about booking a bo***ir session. Stepping out of your comfort zone is a huge step, and not knowing what to expect can make it even harder. I want you to feel safe and informed from the very start, so I have put together a little guide on how the whole journey works.

🤍 Step 1: Let’s Connect.

Send me a DM or an email to say hello. Tell me a little about yourself and why you are considering a session. No pressure, just a friendly first chat.

🤍 Step 2: The Discovery Call.

We will have a relaxed video call. This is our chance to meet, talk through your vision, and for me to answer all your questions. It is all about making sure you feel completely comfortable.

🤍 Step 3: Planning your session.

Once you decide to book, we plan every detail together. From outfits and styling to finding the perfect natural light in your home. I will guide you through it all.

🤍 Step 4: Your photoshoot day.

This is your time to slow down and be seen. You do not need to be a model. I will guide you through every single movement and pose, ensuring you feel safe and beautiful.

🤍 Step 5: The Reveal.

It takes a couple of weeks to hand-edit your final gallery. I know how nervous and excited you will be to see the results, so I always send sneak peeks along the way. You will even receive your first one on the very same evening of your session.

One of the most common reasons women delay a bo***ir session is the belief that they need to lose weight first. They wait for a version of themselves that fits a specific number on a scale.

But here is the truth. Your body is already home to your story, your strength, and your beauty. It does not need to be smaller to be worthy of being celebrated.

My job is to use light and angles to show you what I see. A woman who is powerful, soft, and entirely enough exactly as she is today.

Stop waiting for a version of yourself that does not exist. You are already here. 🖤
