Over the last few days I’ve enjoyed a lovely trip around the North Coast 500. I’ve seen some amazing spots with breathtaking vistas and beautiful beaches. We had two brilliant days of sunshine and I even stumbled upon an old spot I’d photographed a few years ago. After a good walk around, I finally found my composition.

This is Moine House, built in 1830 as a shelter for travellers crossing the moors of Sutherland, Scotland. It offers visitors stunning views and fascinating history about the family that once owned it. Even parts of the old road still run alongside the abandoned house.

Over the last few days I’ve enjoyed a lovely trip around the North Coast 500. I’ve seen some amazing spots with breathtaking vistas and beautiful beaches. We had two brilliant days of sunshine and I even stumbled upon an old spot I’d photographed a few years ago. After a good walk around, I finally found my composition.

After a couple of days, I finally got to test out my new car on a scenic six-hour drive to Nest Point Isle of Skye. The goal was to capture a breathtaking sunset as the sun bathed the cliffs and lighthouse in golden light.

Having visited this location many times, this was the first time the weather and winds aligned perfectly. I patiently waited for the light to pass through the clouds, painting the scene with a wonderful glow.

I shot the entire scene on my Fujifilm X-H2 with a 16-55mm lens and a ten-stop K&F Concept filter

After a couple of days, I finally got to test out my new car on a scenic six-hour drive to Nest Point Isle of Skye. The goal was to capture a breathtaking sunset as the sun bathed the cliffs and lighthouse in golden light.

This bike has been a lifesaver navigating the ups and downs of the badger divide. Running from Inverness to Glasgow is one of my toughest rides yet. Along the way you pass Loch Ness and take in the stunning views on the way to Fort Augustus.

Then it’s the Corrieyairack Pass – hard and gruelling at times, and I even considered quitting. But eventually we made it over and the descent was incredible. We saw wild deer and met some fantastic people along the way, making it a truly great adventure.

Sadly, I couldn’t continue after we reached Corrour station due to exhaustion. However, my bike performed amazingly and kept going. What a machine it is!

What a weekend away, testing out my new car and camping on the Isle of Arran. The first night was unforgettable, with a stunning view overlooking Pladda Lighthouse. As the sun set over calm waters, the light washed over the lighthouse and Ailsa Craig. What a treat it was, captured on my Fujifilm XH2.
