A combined stack of images showing the progress of the solar eclipse late yesterday evening. Taken from Dungeness, never seen the place that busy.

Was a really fun evening, we stuck around for a bit to watch sunset, then ended up in the garden at home watching the meteors.

London Bridge and The Shard at night with Tower Bridge in the distance.

I've always enjoyed photographing London at night, the lights, the reflections and the atmosphere. It's a very different place to during the day.

The light of the rising sun shines through the wooden beams of the old loading bay under the Folkestone Harbour Arm lighting up the Antony Gormley statue at low tide. The statue (Another Time XVIII 2013) stares out to sea, partly covered by the tide twice a day.

I really love the warm light and tones of this image, bringing out the details in the wood, stone and metal.

The Buck Moon breaking through the clouds over Folkestone Harbour Arm Lighthouse last night. The moon started off very faint on the horizon before disappearing behind a cloud bank, leaving me wondering if it would appear in time to line up with the lighthouse. As luck would have it, it broke through in spectacular fashion, resulting in an image I'm really pleased with.
