Bird photography is very much out of my comfort zone, but I recently had the opportunity to visit the Kent Reflection Pool for a couple of hours.

The home of fairies and magical creatures, the fly agaric mushroom 🍄 Famous for its appearance in Alice in Wonderland where Alice eats the mushroom (definitely NOT advised) and has hallucinations, as well as being a symbol of good luck in Victorian and Edwardian times. It is also thought to be the inspiration for Santa Claus's red and white suit.

And just like that, we're back open! The last two months have flown by, and we find ourselves back in Hut 26. Come and take a look at 's Folkestone Crime series if you like a bit of black humour with your murder, or browse through my photography for something to brighten up your walls.

Open 11-4 every weekend in March, and 11-6 every weekend from April onward.
