Unreal vibes for B & R’s garden wedding over the weekend! A proper celebration with pals and family - ceremony in the garden, hiding from wee rain showers in the tent, incredible food (when part of the family is Italian, you know this will be the best part), amazing music going all day and the most packed dancefloor I’ve ever seen✨👌

Previews from this gorgeous gorgeous wee day on the Fife coast for M & H earlier in July. 🥹 they had planned a small but intentional, joy-packed day full of dogs (their cutie Tessa was the star of the show of course), colour, good food and close friends and family all taking place at the very lovely The Old Schoolhouse 🏡

These two sweet souls travelled to Scotland together from their home in France, to share a gorgeous intentional day together for their elopement.

We met very early in the glen, which they hadn’t seen in real life till that moment, and it was just magic. Soft morning sunlight, lush green landscapes and quiet locations. They shared rings, vows and fasted their hands together among the wildflowers in the hills.

I’ll never not be amazed at how my job is to capture so many incredible stories in the most beautiful places. 🥹

From the misty mountains to the dense green forest, A & J chose adventure for their elopement day, and what an adventure it was. 🥹

One thing I LOVED about their elopement was how much thought and detail they had put into everything. I think lots of people have this misconception about elopements that they’re always somehow easier or require less effort in planning. A & J had meticulously planned and styled their day, right down to the styling, crockery and silverware for their cake and canapés back at their hotel.

Standing in the forest, hearing the wonderful Rev. Hazel Jane | Scotland Celebrant talk a wee bit more about their story was just magic. Then there were personal vows, a hand fasting and lots of mentions of their sweet cats (who I’m sure if it was possible would have joined them on their day too!).

I absolutely love working with people who have such a clear creative vision, and I love working with them to bring it to life. 🥹

I met H & C for the first time back in 2024, quite literally on the other side of the planet. It was our friend’s wedding and we got to hang out a wee bit while I was over in Australia, which was so lovely. 🥹

So when they got in touch to say they were road tripping around Scotland and wanted to take photos, I was BUZZIN!! It was even more special photographing them where C’s ancestors once lived!

The weather and the midges were wild, but it was so fun exploring and just having a great wee time together. 😊✨

N & E had the most beautiful day down in Glen Clova over the weekend, and it was full. to. the. brim. of fun, laughter, incredible music and most importantly, dogs.

Being trusted to capture people more than once will never not be the most special thing ever 🥹 after meeting them for a glowy evening beach session last summer, I just knew this day was going to be a good one.

Although pride month is over, year-round I not only work with inclusivity in mind, but I actively affirm and *celebrate* lgbtqia+ love in all its gorgeous forms. It’s honestly my favourite thing to do. 🥹

A & R had a super relaxed day at Mansfield Traquair earlier in June for their wedding celebration.

From their easy-going morning spent with family at their home, to grabbing iced coffees from on the walk to the venue, their friend leading their garden ceremony, and their people quite literally travelling across the globe to be there for them, their day was completely lovely and completely them.

Some previews from A & J’s mega relaxed but mega fun summer wedding at the gorgeous Whitekirk Hill on the east coast 🌞

From the moment I first chatted with them, it was clear that spending time with their people was absolutely fundamental to their day, and it showed through every single minute! From the whole room dancing on their chairs before the speeches even started (courtesy of the incredible Euan Lawrence), to the golden hour first dance and party that followed, it was just packed with gorgeous moments spent together.

I whisked A & J away to the beach for 20 mins in the evening to have a bit of a breather, which I think we all needed! We all kept saying how we felt like we were in the mediterranean sunshine all day, it was just so lovely.

This one also happened to be super special as A and I were pals in school back in the day too. 🥹
