Today we look at artifacts that were found along the Antonine wall which spans across 37 miles of the central belt of Scotland from kilpatrick on the river Clyde to Bo'ness on the firth of forth. It was built in 142 AD by orders of Emperor Antonius Pius and guarded by 16 or 17 forts housing between 6-7 thousand soldiers before retreating south roughly 20 years later
