Today started with me climbing a ladder 20ft to return a young starling to its nest 🤦🏼‍♀️ thankfully that was a success.
And then I spent an hour trying to capture swifts who were feeding in the field behind our garden. It wasn't an easy task but I am quite pleased with the outcome considering how fast they are and also having to deal with heat haze

Who doesn't love a wren ? And a newly fledged white throat showing off his/her snack. Ladybird on the menu 🐞🥰
