Oh, I LOVED photographing this place.

A recent shoot at The Haven 🌱🧘‍♀️ — and there was so much to capture.

The beautiful spaces, the people, the classes, the treatments, the details, the energy… all the different elements that make The Haven what it is.

Because when you’re photographing a wellness brand, it’s not enough just to photograph a lovely room (although obviously I’m never going to walk past a beautiful interior without photographing it!).

You need to show it coming to life.

People want to imagine themselves there. Taking the class. Having the treatment. Meeting the people. Finding their favourite corner. And, ultimately, getting a sense of how being there might make them feel.

So we packed A LOT into this shoot, creating a really varied bank of imagery that The Haven can now use across their website, social media and marketing.

And this is exactly the sort of shoot I love — beautiful spaces, brilliant people and lots of lovely details to get stuck into.

More from this one coming because, frankly, I have far too many favourites.

A little sneak peek from my latest shoot with .

There have been lots of conversations, ideas and strategic thinking happening behind the scenes with Fan recently, bringing different members of her creative team together and really looking at where the business is heading and how the brand and imagery need to evolve alongside it.

This shoot felt like the beginning of that next chapter.

This time, we wanted to let the beautiful do much of the talking — capturing the architecture, gardens and atmosphere, with Fan sometimes just a small part of the wider scene.

Just ten for now, with lots more to share later.

And a big thank you to Fan for continuing to trust me with our Creative Partnership — and the thinking that goes on around it.

A little sneak peek from last weeks Creative Partnership shoot with & .

Emmeline and I have worked together for so long now that we're pretty much in sync when it comes to shoot days.

And we don't do it by halves!

Clothing rails, suitcases (plural... obviously!), props, moodboards, an Art Director, Assistant Photographer, Videographer and enough kit to make moving in for the weekend seem entirely reasonable.

They're always high energy, brilliantly organised and a lot of fun.

And this one was no exception.

Just a few favourites for now… lots more to come.

Another day spent with one of my Creative Partnership clients, First Press Hospitality | Bath | Luxury Event Catering.

One of the things I love most about working together over time is that every shoot has a purpose. Because I understand their business, we can identify what’s missing from their image library and create photographs that genuinely support where they’re heading.

This time, it wasn’t about the food.

It was about the experience.

First Press Hospitality wanted imagery that captured the warmth, professionalism and attention to detail that make couples and their guests feel so well looked after on a wedding day.

So whilst a beautiful wedding unfolded around us at Bowood House & Gardens, my focus wasn’t the couple or the celebration. It was documenting everything happening around it.

* The calm before service.
* The teamwork behind the scenes.
* The perfectly timed drinks.
* Beautifully crafted food.
* The quiet moments of anticipation.
* The genuine care that guests remember long after the last plate has been cleared.

These are the moments that tell the real story of First Press Hospitality, and they’re exactly the kind of images we’ll continue building throughout our Creative Partnership.

I can’t wait to share more from this beautiful day.

Another day spent with one of my Creative Partnership clients .

One of my favourite things about working this way is becoming an extension of my clients' team.

Instead of booking a photographer for a one-off shoot, they have someone who gets to know their business, understands their brand, and builds a library of imagery that tells their story over time.

Documenting at work during a beautiful wedding at Bowood House as the wedding was unfolding around us, my focus wasn't the couple or the celebration—it was capturing the people, the care and the countless details that make First Press Hospitality exceptional at what they do.

The calm before service.
The teamwork behind the scenes.
The beautifully crafted food.
The genuine hospitality that guests remember long after the last plate has been cleared.

But these aren't just images for the sake of having fresh content. Every shoot forms part of a wider strategy we've developed together, creating a purposeful library of imagery that supports their website, social media, marketing and future growth. It's the combination of my photography and my background in marketing communications that helps ensure every image has a job to do.

That's the value of having your own brand photographer.

I can't wait to share more from this one...

We’ve worked together for a number of years, so when started planning for the year ahead, it felt like the natural next step to become one of my Creative Partnership clients.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of supporting them (and ) through some big changes as a business, how they differentiate themselves whilst still feeling connected, and how to communicate all of that clearly to their clients.

That’s why I love working this way.

Photography isn’t the starting point. Understanding the business is.

Only once we’ve worked through the goals, the messaging and the gaps in existing imagery do we start creating photographs that bring that strategy to life.

This shoot was all about the people behind Brookman Greene.

Because I’ve worked with the team for so long, these aren’t just people I’m meeting for the first time. They’re familiar faces, which makes photographing them feel relaxed, genuine and a lot of fun.

And when one of your team flies all the way over from Canada just in time for the shoot… you make sure she’s in plenty of photographs!

This is just the beginning of another year’s worth of purposeful imagery, created to evolve alongside their business.

I can’t wait to share more from this shoot over the coming weeks.

Happy Anniversary to these two. ❤️

In over 20 years of photographing weddings, this is the only one where I was both a guest *and* the photographer.

Family means a great deal to me, so being trusted to document one of the biggest days in my niece’s life, whilst also being there to celebrate it with them, is something I’ll never forget.

It meant photographing bridal prep in my denim shorts before disappearing to get changed into something a little more wedding-appropriate for the afternoon. It meant sneaking into the family photographs, swapping photographer mode for auntie mode every now and then and simply enjoying being surrounded by some of my favourite people.

And of course, there had to be a cuddle with my little red-haired sidekick. For years I was the only redhead in the family... until now!

Three years on, I still feel incredibly lucky to have been part of it in every sense.

Keep swiping to the end if you’d like a little peek behind the scenes of me juggling my two favourite jobs that day. 📸😊

Happy Anniversary, you gorgeous pair. I wish you all the love, laughter and adventure, as it was on your wedding day.

Here’s to many more wonderful years together. 🥂

A little behind the scenes from my first Creative Partnership shoot with and .

What a place to spend the day. Nestled in the beautiful Cotswolds, surrounded by stunning countryside, and inside… gorgeous light, beautiful interiors and so many thoughtful details. I was definitely in my happy place.

The best part though? The team. Such a warm welcome, a brilliant can-do attitude, and everyone got completely stuck into the shoot.

This is the first of many shoots together, and that’s what I love about Creative Partnerships. Instead of trying to create everything in one day, we get to build a library of authentic imagery over time, as an extension of their team.

I can’t wait to share the images from this one!

"What's with the black background?" I hear you ask...

If you've been around here for a while, you'll know that most of my work tends to be light, bright and full of context. I love photographing people in the environments where they live, work and create because those details help tell the story of who they are and what they do.

That said, I've noticed a couple of my Creative Partnership clients have requested studio-style imagery to sit alongside their lifestyle photographs.

When Fan () and I started talking about her latest shoot, she was clear that she wanted a cleaner, more editorial feel to her images — something that would resonate with the London and international clients she's looking to attract, whilst still feeling completely authentic to who she is.

So rather than heading outdoors or into a venue, we chose a more studio-inspired approach. The result? Fresh, modern imagery that feels elevated, professional and completely aligned with where her business is heading next.

And, as always, there was plenty of laughter along the way. I genuinely don't think I've ever done a shoot with Fan that wasn't an absolute hoot.

It's such a privilege to help clients not only show where their brand is today, but where they're going tomorrow.
