Bringing together over 50 of Scotland’s finest local makers and exquisite artisan crafters, the Christmas Shopping Fair offers a wonderful opportunity to discover distinctive pieces for the home, beautiful fashion, fine food and considered gifts for the festive season.

Alongside returning favourites such as Planet Goods & Ware, Mhor Bread and many more, new exhibitors for 2026 include;

- Dook of Edinburgh, which makes small-batch soaps and skincare in Portobello.
- Happily Ever Chapters, a mobile bookshop specialising in romance and fantasy fiction.

"All our photos are selfies and my daughter is usually posing or making a silly face! It's hard to get good pics when there isn't anyone to take it..."

But the silly faces are also part of who they are together so of course we had to capture one of those too (scroll to the end)

Mother and daughter photography experiences are always special. These two are a whole lot of fun and get on brilliantly. Feeling grateful to be able to photograph their relationship and be able to give them photographs that will last a lifetime as now they also have them on their wall at home. Definitely a deserved upgrade from phone selfies 💖✨

We can't wait as this year we're all about a cosy space where little (and less little) people can feel immediately at home. Favourite Teddies are encouraged as there's a space for them on the sofa (Sheep, bunnies... also all welcome 😆)

What to wear? Anything with reds, greens, golds and creams work brilliantly.

What better way to celebrate your seventh birthday than in a beautiful pink dress, capturing the moment with family photos? ♥️ 🎂

We love the variety that comes with Family Photography Experiences. Some families choose to commemorate special milestones like birthdays, dressing up to add to the celebration. For others, it is an opportunity to come together and capture their family in that particular moment.
