This one is definitely best viewed from the air with its huge scale of 50m x 40m.

Órla wasn’t so sure about the “airplane” (drone) but kept asking for it when it went back in the bag 😂

Back in action! 🙌

Well, that took longer than expected! Turns out having two babies really does take up a lot of your time.

I am back though! Etsy shop open once more - https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ShonaElizabethArt - and I am accepting commissions again. First come first served so drop me a DM!

Photographer / Videographer - Property Marketing | Edinburgh & The Lothians

Flexible hours: Full-time or part-time

828 Media is a new and ambitious property media agency preparing to launch. New name, new logo – but operating under Philip Stewart Photography Limited, a well-established company combining over five years of trading history with over 20 years of industry experience.

We are looking for a creative, reliable and motivated photographer/videographer to join our growing team. Based primarily in Edinburgh and The Lothians, we work with estate agents, developers, architects, and property professionals across the city and beyond. From single listings to high-volume agency work, we bring a sharp eye, polished editing, and consistent results across every project.

The chosen one (no pressure) will be responsible for capturing:

· Professional and creative photos and videos
· Floor plans (accurate ones)
· Virtual tours (that don’t make people dizzy)

From period homes to modern commercial spaces, you’ll be trusted to make buildings look good — and still reflect reality.
This role has your name on it if you:

· Know how to shoot photo and video. Full training will be provided – we just ask that your camera and ‘Auto’ aren’t in a long-term relationship
· Have a good eye for composition and a healthy dislike of clutter
· Are organised, punctual, and reliable
· Can work independently without needing a nudge
· Are comfortable dealing with clients in their homes or workplaces
· Hold a full UK driving licence

Nice-to-Haves (Not Deal Breakers)

· Property or architectural photography experience
· Floor plan or virtual tour experience
· Drone experience (or at least an interest that goes beyond “they look fun”)

The Practical Stuff

· Flexible hours: full-time or part-time

· Based in Edinburgh or The Lothians
· Travel around the region as part of the job
· You’ll need - DSLR or mirrorless camera, wide-angle lens (15mm/17mm), prime lens (50mm), tripod, gimbal
· We’ll provide – 360° camera, iPad, flash
· Salary - £27,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience. Pro-rata for part-time.
· A growing business that values doing things properly

Benefits

· Company pension
· 28 days holiday
· Discretionary bonus
· Parking and mileage expenses

If you like straight verticals, good light, and getting things right the first time, we’ll probably get on.
Apply with your CV and a portfolio or examples of your work.

High living. We’ve been very busy creating a lot of videos for our clients over the past year. I thought it was time to start sharing some of them.

First up, a modern apartment at the exclusive New Eidyn. Perched high above the St James Quarter slap bang in the city centre of Edinburgh. Some of the best amenities literally on your doorstep and incredible views across the entire city.

Now sold!

Realised I haven't shared anything here other than my happy new year post at the start of the year! It's been a crazily busy beginning to 2025; with only 6 weeks to go before baby number 2 arrives, an amazing start to the year with the business, and now we're on the move so I thought I would share a video I made now that it's hit the market for sale! 🏡

Absolutely love this location and seeing the Pentlands every day. Luckily we're not moving far!

Happy New Year! Wishing you all the very best for 2025!

The year we keep growing our businesses to new heights but most importantly, we grow our family with another girl in the next few months. Bring on the madness! 😮‍💨❤️

I’ll be starting the new year by heading north with the camera tomorrow when the weather looks more promising and hopefully with some fresh snow ❄️ ☀️

Let me know in the comments where you are starting the new year.

Thanks so much to everyone who has followed along my journey in 2024. I appreciate all the support!

This week my business had its 4th birthday! 🥳

The main focus at inception was to put my many years of experience in property photography to good use and start my own business. While I was still doing my landscape photography whenever I could, and selling the occasional prints, I also had a big interest in the property world with a drive and eagerness to build something of my own.

The past couple of years have been different in that I’ve gone from working mostly solo in the business to starting to grow it to be more than just a one man band. As the year draws to a close I feel I’ve made some real progress with that. It’s still very early days but there’s certainly a sense of both pride and relief with getting to this point. Doing everything on your own within any business requires a lot of hours and sacrifice. Mix that with starting the business during the pandemic, getting married, starting a family with the birth of our daughter who has just turned one, our second daughter on the way, selling and buying a new home, purchasing and renovating an investment property, and so many other things along the way. It’s been a challenging but very exciting and rewarding 4 years!

There have definitely been some ups and downs but I’ve learned so much from the journey. I am lucky to have a brilliant team around me now and more people coming on board in 2025.

I’ll be looking to carry on the growth into next year with some big changes, all while keeping the integrity and high standards I started out with.

Extremely grateful to all my clients, especially the ones who have been a part of my journey for all these years! Your trust and loyalty is not taken for granted and I will continue to work my hardest to bring you the very best service possible.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. I appreciate your time and if anyone wants to connect and chat about business, please reach out.
