Puppies = sooo cute 🐶

My client said, “I think we’re done with kids, but we still want to add a little more craziness to our family… so maybe it’s time for a puppy 🙂 Look at this little face — how can you not love it? If you have a puppy, just like newborns, dogs need to be photographed as newborns too.” I’d never thought about it that way before!

I really enjoyed this session, and I definitely want to do more of these. Me thinks I might need to do a little model call and meet more puppies before July 🐾

It feels like yesterday that I was writing about starting my Childhood Practice studies. It has been an insanely busy year with so much going on. Now my placement has come to an end, and Wednesdays and Thursdays will definitely feel a bit sad and boring without it. Only a few weeks left until the course officially finishes, and then it’s off to the next exciting chapter.
My P1 kids made me this super awesome card, and it will always be really special to me. We made so many great memories together, including some of the kids still calling me Iron Man right until the very end 🙂
A huge thank you to all the amazing teachers and support staff who supported me throughout this journey. I have learned so much and truly enjoyed my placement, with all of its challenges. It would have been way too boring otherwise, wouldn’t it? Ha ha.

Looking for a Photographer/Business to Share My Studio

Perfect for those who would like to have a studio access, starting out but don't want to dish out ££££'s in equipment, set up etc, or a location photographer who would like to add a studio option for your clients.

No, I'm not closing down - don't panic! 🙂
I am about to finish my course, and I know I will be in full-time employment soon. Over the past 10 years, I’ve built a space I’m incredibly proud of, and now I’d love to share it with someone as passionate as I am.

Planning to shoot 1 day per weekend and some school holidays. It really depends on how busy I am.

Ideally, I'm looking for a family photographer, as the studio is already well-equipped for that genre. However, if you have a business which is family-oriented, we can have a chat.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to have access to a professional studio at a very reasonable price, without the huge upfront investment in props and equipment, as everything is already here and ready to use. I wish I had this kind of opportunity when I was starting out!

"I had a superb experience with Armand during my maternity photoshoot. From the very start, he made me feel completely at ease. Communication was quick, clear and effortless, which made the whole process feel relaxed and well organised. A huge bonus was being able to have hair and makeup arranged in the studio, which was incredibly helpful, especially with the rainy and windy Edinburgh weather.
What really sets Armand apart is his approach. He does not impose his vision on you. Instead, he listens carefully first and then offers thoughtful and constructive feedback on what will work well and what might not. He has a very creative mind, which clearly shows in his work, but he is also exceptionally kind, patient and supportive throughout the session.
It really helped having my partner there with me, and Armand even managed to encourage him to take part in the photos, something I never thought would happen. That alone speaks volumes about how comfortable and natural he makes the experience feel.

Pricing was a big one, as I always had starting from prices. Now I offer two simple packages. My Keepsake and Lux. Easy and straightforward.

I look rough as hell 😂 must be some weird camera setting. This was part of a little series I did for new starting newborn photographers. Just showing that you don't need to stress that you can't do those complicated poses yet. Parents always love these simple and more natural shots.
