Portraits for Gaza

Hello lovely people!

Yesterday I spent a wee half hour with this adorable family ❤️ We ran about Portobello beach and jumped in the water (sorry Siana!) and took some precious family photos!

I am trying to raise some much needed funds for the human beings of Gaza who are experiencing unfathomable, unimaginable suffering, during this atrocious genocide. They desperately need medical supplies, food and water. I’m offering these sessions, without time limit, for £100!

These sessions are for families, grand parents, pet parents, couples and individuals! They will take place on Portobello beach, Edinburgh. All money will go to charities working tirelessly to provide aid (when it is allowed through).

The most wonderful, perfectly imperfect elopement in Glen Etive ❤️ J&R wanted a fuss free day that was just about them and their love, in their favourite place! They have spent the last 5 years adventuring around Scotland in their beloved van, Morice, so it made sense that they tied the knot this way!

We had all the weather, in typical Scottish style!
45mph wind, rain and sleet! And the girls just laughed it off and had the best day ever ❤️
That’s what it’s all about! Having a day that suits you, not what other people expect of you!

Excited for their party tonight ❤️

A beautiful morning in Bali with beautiful people ❤️

Nonie and I attended a yoga retreat Becoming Retreats in Bali last October. It was the most special time!

We stayed at the incredible Salty Breeze Bali which felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys swinging about the trees! Wonderful place ❤️

These photos are from a gorgeous wee morning when we went down to the local beach for sunrise ❤️

Hey hey!

How is everyone??

Ok yet again I failed at posting on Facebook last year. Sorry!

Here is the gorgeous wee elopement of Kerry and Ashley. They decided to marry in secret, just the 2 of them and their beloved wee Westies! The banks of Loch Etive, near Glencoe was their chosen special spot.

The original plan had been to start super early in the hope that maybe we'd get some beautiful Autumn morning light as we made our way to Loch Etive for their loch side ceremony.....but Scotland had other ideas! We had a cold, windy, wet November storm, with sleet that burnt the skin! Not to be deterred, the girls put on our dry robes (we use these for bad weather days so our couples can feel super cosy!) and they bravely stood and had the most lovely Agnostic ceremony, led by the wonderful Andrea.
They whipped the Dry Robes off for their vows and first kiss as wife and wife. We then retreated back to the van to defrost, get dry and have some nibbles and Prosecco. We signed the marriage schedule before heading off in the van for some portraits around glorious Glencoe!

It was absolutely perfect ###

Happy Hogmanay Facebookers!

I didn’t do very well at posting on here again this year. So here’s a wee summary of all the lovely weddings I shot this year! (If it works….I’ve no idea if reels work on here haha) I’ll stick that onto my long list of resolutions!

What an incredible year it’s been for this wee business! I’ve learnt so much and had a great time meeting all of my lovely couples ❤️❤️

Hey!

Just popping on to show you a wedding from a few weeks ago from my favourite castle, Neidpath Castle, near Peebles.
It was a lovely day for Catriona and Joe who celebrated with their gorgeous wee daughter Violet, as well as their family and best friends. We ditched the idea of escaping outside for portraits when the heavens opened but did not miss out! A wander round the nooks and crannies of this beautiful, authentic and rustic venue was so much fun!
