Having worked alongside Tots Play for the past nine years, spending time with Nikki and her fantastic team always feels like catching up with old friends.
For those who haven’t heard of Tots Play Chesterfield, they’re a nationwide franchise offering baby and toddler classes designed to support children’s development through fun, engaging, and interactive play. Every session is packed with activities that help little ones learn, explore, and grow while giving parents and carers the opportunity to create special memories together.
One of the reasons I’ve loved working with Nikki and her team for so long is because of everything these classes offer families:

Walking into a Tots Play session, you’re immediately greeted with smiles, laughter, and plenty of excitement. The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and full of energy, something Nikki and her team work incredibly hard to create.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing countless sessions and watching so many families enjoy everything Tots Play has to offer. It’s been lovely to see babies grow into confident toddlers, and even more special when families return with younger siblings to begin the journey all over again. I get emotional when they leave!
What has always stood out to me is the genuine care Nikki and her team have for every child and parent who walks through the door. Every activity is thoughtfully planned, every child is encouraged, and every family is made to feel welcome.
These sessions are packed with the kind of moments I love to capture: huge smiles, curious little faces, proud achievements, and plenty of laughter. The joy in the room is completely natural, which always makes for the most meaningful photographs.
It’s easy to see why Tots Play has become such a successful franchise across the UK. The classes are about so much more than keeping little ones entertained; they’re about learning, confidence, friendships, development, and creating a supportive community for families.
