There’s something truly special about catching a familiar local scene in the perfect evening light. 🌅

As the sun began to sink towards the horizon, its warm golden glow swept across the water, illuminating the beautiful Stubbing Court Boathouse and bringing the old stonework beautifully to life.

The calm water created a soft, dreamy reflection, while the dramatic clouds above added depth and atmosphere to the scene. The last rays of sunlight filtering through the trees made this little corner of the countryside feel almost magical.

Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to find something worth photographing — beautiful moments can be right on your doorstep. 📸✨

Not every visitor stays for long, and that's what makes moments like this so special.

Late in the evening, a mature male badger emerged from the darkness, pausing for just a few fleeting seconds in front of the camera at Lee Maisfield's hide. With a quick glance, a cautious sniff of the air, and a determined stride, he was gone as quietly as he arrived.

These brief encounters are a reminder that wildlife photography isn't just about the perfect shot—it's about patience, respect, and being privileged enough to witness a tiny glimpse into the secret lives of Britain's nocturnal wildlife.

Sometimes, the shortest visits leave the biggest memories.
