I was recently invited to capture a Women’s Retreat Day held by Rachael 🌿 Deeply rooted soul. & Flexandstrength yoga/wellness/healing (more on that soon!) at the beautiful venue that is Sheena Corry | The Forge 💚

This venue completely captured my heart. With bell tents and shepherds huts to stay in too, it truly is an amazing place to stay and host an event.

Recently my work helping women has very much been centred around the spaces I photograph them in.. spaces that allow them to be themselves, that mean something to them and are integral to their business offerings.

The space helps to complete the picture..

And Sheena Corry | The Forge did this so beautifully for Rachael & Rhi. I can’t wait to share more from their amazing day ✨💚

Dreams really do come true!💚

Capturing the places loved and cherished by Beatrix Potter was my first photography love. An exceptional woman who had the foresight to protect so much land in the Lake District forever, for all of us.

So, to have my work recognised and admired by the The Beatrix Potter Society is such an accolade.. an honour in fact! I’m so incredibly chuffed..

And the seeds of my next Beatrix project are now taking root. Excited for what’s to come💚

On international women’s day, I feel called to celebrate this woman, who helps me and other women to know themselves and speak their truth.. not through ‘feminism’ but ancestral feminine teachings 🌹❤️🌹forever grateful to you Laurie Ellen Hadden-Deering of The Barn Temple.

🌿My photography has taken me on a path helping fellow women in business, which I’m incredibly grateful for. But today on St David’s Day, I feel called to honour my beginnings🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🌿Photographing our land is my true love. I capture the simple things, the paths trodden by many before me, the ancient places that help us pause and remember, the trees that remain steadfast..

🌿This little fellow.. a herdwick lamb, was captured in a meadow last spring, at a place very close to my heart in the .. National Trust Beatrix Potter's Hill Top & Hawkshead

🌿It was on the repeat visits to the places she loved and cared for that I became most at home with my camera. The noise and chatter of every day life just disappeared, and my creativity flourished.
