A moment for Georgia’s shoes…

That’s it. That’s the post.

I love shoes and these absolutely deserve their own spot on the grid.

So many beautiful weddings to share, but August is my busiest month, so they are coming 🔜

Fifteen years of photographing weddings all over the world, and I had always dreamed of shooting in Chester Cathedral (on my doorstep).

Lydia & Josh made it happen.

I couldn’t have wished for a better couple to do it with. We clicked at our very first meeting and have had a WhatsApp group chat going ever since - by the time the wedding arrived, it was simply a day of celebrating with friends... who I occasionally pointed a camera at.

Lydia and Josh sent me the cutest video message after seeing their previews for the first time. Scroll to the end.

THAT is my ‘why!

If I’m ever in a church on a bright sunny day, you’ll always find me chasing light and colours dancing across the floor.

So this post is just that - no big carousel, no agenda. Just posting because I think it’s really beautiful.

There are far too many favourites from this wedding to squeeze into one post anyway, so I probably need to blog for the first time in about 6 months.

Chester Cathedral X Lydia & Josh ♥️

More to come.

36 hours on 35mm: Bangkok

Some of the many film photos I shot in Thailand – neon in the rain, flower carts, tuk-tuks, temples wrapped in gold against tower blocks.

I would love to go back with a lot more time (and a lot less heat).

Today? Perfect.

Kirsty & Chris had their ceremony at Chester Town Hall surrounded by the people who matter most, then went for fizz at Paysan before taking the party to Commonhall Social.

Kirsty didn’t have a bouquet so she asked some of her family/friends to each choose a stem and create a bouquet for her with the help of at Chester Market. Such a lovely idea.

14 guests, zero fuss, and one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve ever photographed.

If you’ve been questioning whether you need a big wedding - you really, really don’t.

Intimate Chester weddings and elopements are 100% my jam. If this is giving you ideas, my details are in the bio.

Photos to come - I got this by mistake as I thought I was grabbing a photo on my phone and then I realised it was video - and then they kissed. A content creator I am not - leaving that to the amazing

Curved serpentine tables filled with the most incredible flowers (created by our gorgeous workshop attendees!), layered candlelight and lamps, all set beneath the huge chandeliers at Domaine de Cazenac… such a dream of an evening!

Our blue linens, placemats, lamps and crystal glassware featured here are all available to hire through us. And if you love this style and would like us to help style your wedding or event, we’d absolutely love to hear from you 🤍

It’s becoming very busy wedding season for us, so replies may be a little slower while we’re out and about with our lovely couples - thank you for being patient with us ✨

I’ve been quiet on here lately - shoulder surgery will do that. Recovery is going well, but it’s also given me a lot of time to sit with the state of the world and wonder how to show up here without it feeling completely tone deaf.

Something I know a lot of creatives are struggling with.

I don’t have a neat answer to that. But I keep coming back to this: sharing beauty isn’t the same as looking away. The world needs art. It’s a reminder that creativity, connection, and the human capacity to make something extraordinary still exist - and always will.

Not escapism. Just evidence.

Crumbling walls, candlelight, and a love story that feels like it’s been waiting centuries to be told.

A chance for me to test some new (old) cameras and film - and honestly, I love how these came out.

If you’ve seen the new Wuthering Heights and felt something stir - this one’s for you.

A brilliant editorial with some seriously talented people, shot at the stunning - a venue that honestly feels like it exists somewhere between a dream and a Gothic novel.

Part 1 of 3 - way too many scans to fit in one post.

Tonight I’m treating myself to a little ‘medicinal’ tipple on the sofa while watching the Winter Olympics.

(Anyone else obsessed with the curling?)

Gradually easing myself back into work after my shoulder surgery at the weekend - feeling good despite the expected soreness. I actually think the after effects of the anaesthetic is the worst part.

Physio is happening, emails and enquiries are being answered, and the shiny new CRM system is *gradually* being updated.

Couples - you’ll soon get an email with a link to your client portal. ✨

📷 Shot on 35mm outside the church at Millie & Tom’s beautiful winter wedding back in December 🤍
