I adore Lupins and Foxglove but rapacious swarms of feral slugs & snails that exist in our garden put paid regularly to that enjoyment.

However the oasis that is Queens Garden on willow grove is great place to chill and watch the world pass by.

On with the extension tubes to get some close up colour.

Soaring to epic heights and swooping into moments of real tenderness with equal deftness, the marvellous Jenny Colquitt Musict was in fine form on Friday last. Her emotionally charged, passionate rollercoaster of songs was perfectly suited to the wonderful setting of St Mary's Creative Space
