Calling all Wedding Photographers 🔊🤓

Maybe you’re trying to discover your style or feel like you’re just getting the same results as everyone else? Well- I’ve got space to take on two established wedding photographers this Winter for intensive mentoring!!

We’d cover… shooting style, approach to weddings, settings, light, composition, moments, editing, presets, website, social media and business! (That’s quite a lot)

It would happen across six 1:1 days October 2026-March 2027 and you’d also come along to a London Street Photography day in March I’m running too.

Billy & Sarah 🎊🥳

These two promised a wedding filled with “music, games and no doubt some messy behaviour.” There was all this! Sarah was one of the most positive, kind and thankful Brides I’ve met. She took time to introduce me to people during prep and when the waitress served her the main course during the wedding breakfast she took her by the hand and went out of her way to express her gratitude. Billy was a gent, he’d organised lots of the wedding too.

They’d planned an outdoor woodland ceremony, we expected it after the Summer we’ve had but sadly the weather didn’t play ball. These two champs took it on the chin and when you’ve got 140 people who are so excited to see a couple they love very much become Husband and Wife we could have had the ceremony in an underground bunker- there’d have still been so much energy and laughter. The music was great all day as was the dance floor (I loved that Sarah walked into “Yellow” by Coldplay)

Thanks to Rachel who came to her final wedding with me this year. Teaching her this year has been a joy- she has become such a brilliant photographer. Good to work with the Wedding Dolls- they dealt so well with the weather and making sure everything went ok. Also shout out to wedding guests Ollie and Oli- we had a good discussion about the spelling of “Olly” but unlike lots of heated debate topics in our modern age we listened to each other’s opinions and disagreed well and went home without fighting (too much…) Billy and Sarah- huge congrats and enjoy an epic honeymoon!

Ben & Nikki had their wedding at Le Gothique in London on Saturday

It was like having the courtyard of a French Chateau picked up and placed in London! Stunning place for a wedding. These two met in Lockdown, had a b**r in a park as their first date and then went to some B**r Festivals over the years at Le Gothique. It was really fitting they got married there too.

Nikki is not only very fun (she also has a full name for her car) she’s also part of a Choir and members of the choir performed during the day. They even sang for the first dance and a few songs afterwards. Nikki joined them for a Faithless track. It was amazing. As a musician I was in my element. Ben is one of the most genuine and sweetest guys. I enjoyed being around them and here are some of my favourite images I took on the day. Enjoy!

The best memories from James & Steph’s wedding this time last year in Umbria, Italy. It’s rare I ever photograph back to back weddings in the UK let alone overseas but everything just aligned and I was able to capture this stunning wedding only half an hour down the road from another amazing wedding in Umbria the day before.

I’ll be forever grateful for James & Steph trusting Caleb to second shoot for me, it turned out very well! Caleb and I are now going out to photograph James’s Brothers wedding next year, this time in the South of France! Josh Logan & Sophie Togwell I’ve booked my eurotunnel!! 🚆😂

This is Reportage Story Award in Collection 52 🤩🥳🏆

Adam found me through searching on the This is Reportage website for a documentary wedding photographer so it’s a full circle moment this morning as his and Sophie’s wedding gets its very own TiR story award!!

Only a few entries get selected for a story award and thousands of images are submitted so I’m very grateful.

The cool venues, the interesting moments and the dynamic light made me feel really creative at this wedding and every image bar one was taken on the 24mm lens.

I’m not going to shoot another wedding like Jock & Louisa’s! Jock earns money running around hitting people with swords (their words, not mine) and Louisa worked in theatre. So yesterday we had two Actors, their family and friends (many of them in the creative arts and wonderfully eccentric), a carnival themed wedding at a venue with a carousel and numerous fairground games and one very happy Photographer!

Some moments that stuck out to me- a hand fasting ceremony to the tune of “It’s a Knockout”, feeling slightly giddy after going on the carousel backwards (occupational hazard) and the first dance being under festoons outside. I admitted to Jock that on our first video call I couldn’t suss him out but yesterday not only did I see the sword fighting Scotsman but I saw a softhearted gent who well and truly loves his Wife (Jock and I even shouted “LOVE YOU” to each other as I left! Ha) I could chat all day to these two- I enjoyed their company a lot.

Such a pleasure being back at Preston Court, it’s been too long. J-Lo was there. Couldn’t believe it. Also- Alex was drumming (he was a Groom from 2013 and now a lifelong friend!) and it was Aimee’s last wedding with me this year. She’s smashed it.

Adam & Sophie’s wedding at Lambeth Town Hall & The Lordship Pub in Dulwich has been one of my faves to document this Summer and it is new to my website blog!

Loads of emotion, light and shadows and an epic dance floor!

FLIIIIIP!!! 🤯🤩

This chap was doing backflips, somersaults and handstands on the dance floor last week. Very impressed. Going away to work on mine now…

What I have already been working on are the images from Justin & Charlotte’s wedding. There’s sooo many hugs and moments and fun frames like this. Can’t wait to share with them.
