One of the things I love most about being a bo***ir photographer is seeing women come back through my studio doors. 🤍

This lovely lady joined me for her second bo***ir photoshoot, and it was such a joy to spend the day with her again. We chatted about life, confidence, and how menopause had affected the way she felt about herself. She told me she’s finally coming through the other side and starting to feel like herself again.

That is exactly why this experience means so much to me.

A bo***ir photoshoot isn’t about trying to look younger, changing your body, or being “perfect.” It’s about taking time for yourself, celebrating how far you’ve come, and seeing yourself with kinder eyes.

So many women tell me they want to wait until they’ve lost weight or feel more confident before booking. The truth is, confidence rarely comes first.

It grows during the experience.

I see it happen time and time again. Women arrive feeling nervous and full of self-doubt, then leave standing taller, smiling brighter, and seeing themselves in a completely different way.

I absolutely loved meeting this lovely lady. ❤️

She travelled all the way from Sittingbourne after following us for quite some time and finally decided it was her turn.

She’d had a really tough year and wanted to do something that would help rebuild her confidence.

From the moment she walked through the studio door, we laughed, chatted and had such a brilliant day together. By the end of her shoot she was smiling, standing taller and seeing herself in a completely different way.

This is why I love what I do. It isn’t just about taking beautiful photographs. It’s about giving women the chance to put themselves first, even if it’s just for one day.

The older I get, the more I realise confidence isn’t something you’re born with. It’s something you grow into.
There was a time when I picked myself apart. I focused on everything I wanted to change instead of everything that made me who I am.
Now, I see my body differently. It has carried me through life’s highs and lows. It tells my story. And I’ve learned to appreciate it instead of fighting against it.
That doesn’t mean I wake up every day feeling amazing. It means I’ve chosen to be kinder to myself.
If you’re waiting until you’ve lost weight, toned up, or feel “good enough” before celebrating yourself, please don’t. You deserve to feel confident exactly as you are today.
As a bo***ir photographer in Kent, I have the privilege of photographing women of every age, shape, and size. The most beautiful change I see isn’t in the photographs. It’s in the way they stand a little taller, smile a little bigger, and finally see themselves with the kindness they deserve.

Hi, I’m Alison. ♥️

If we haven’t met yet, I’m so pleased you’re here.
For over 15 years I’ve had the privilege of photographing more than 1,000 incredible women, and there is nothing I love more than watching someone arrive feeling nervous, only to leave standing taller, smiling bigger and saying, “I can’t believe that’s me!”

After my own breast cancer journey in 2010, I truly understood how easy it is to lose confidence in your body. That experience gave me a real passion for helping women see themselves differently. Through every session, my goal is to help you recognise your strength, your beauty and everything that makes you uniquely you.

You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to change a thing about yourself. Just come as you are, and I’ll guide you every step of the way.

Although I am referred to as a Women’s Bo***ir photographer I think about myself more as a Confidence and Transformation Photographer. Why because that’s what happens to ladies that decide to do something for themselves

A new lease of energy and confidence is the aim!

Whatever the reason a lady comes to me for a photo shoot I love seeing them evolve into someone oozing self confidence, and when they see their photos the transformation is amazing and emotional.
