Margate Digital is a fantastic hub for creative technology courses, and it was a pleasure to capture it in use! I would like to say a huge thank you to the students who participated in the video, and a special thank you to Luca Fasulo, Chantal Massie, and Ross Buttery for making this project possible.

I had a great time recently at Margate Digital, EKC Broadstairs, capturing shots of the students using the equipment at their brand new creative facility. It was wonderful to see them engaging with the latest technology. I would have loved the opportunity to study in a college like this when I was younger!

☀️ The weather was glorious, though the harsh lighting it creates can sometimes be tricky. While most clients assume clear blue skies and bright sunshine are ideal, I actually prefer a few clouds in the sky for more balanced light and an interesting sky. However, the good weather certainly makes the rooms look bright and inviting.

Photography and drone footage for CBG Construction Ltd who were appointed to carry out two phases of work at Grand Ocean in Saltdean. 📷
This beautiful Grade II listed Art Deco building is full of history. Originally the hotel opened in 1938, hosting stars like Bette Davis and was the height of glitz, before being used by the Auxiliary Fire Service during the war. Later restored by Billy Butlin in 1953, the site became a Butlin's holiday camp. Today, the Grand Ocean Estate is a residential estate with 235 apartments, retaining many original features including the stunning staircase, garden with fountains and the reception desk.
It was a joy to capture this project, documenting both its timeless beauty and its intriguing history.
