Spotted this gosling in a field of daisies in my local park. I wanted to get down low and shoot through the daisies to capture this lovely scene, once again nature offering a delightful subject for photography.

Some shots from the BTCC yesterday, great atmosphere and drama as always with touring cars.

One of the hidden gems in Lathkill Dale, this old wooden footbridge a scenic point in the valley near the historic Mandale Mine ruins and Bateman's House. Unfortunately you can longer walk over the bridge but it's a stunning scene over the river Lathkill framed by the tree branch above the bridge, making for a lovely artistic quality, resembling a painting.

Everywhere I look in the Peak District it's just full of meadows bursting with beautiful spring flowers, It's like nature decided to put on its best show. Honestly, the colours are absolutely breathtaking at the moment, I can't get enough of it. Every walk feels like stepping into a fairytale painting with flowering meadows.

Grinlow Low Tower, also affectionately known as Solomon's Temple stands at 1434ft above sea level and is a prominent and recognizable feature against the backdrop of the town. This stunning landmark offers a unique visual identity to the area, and it's structure contributes significantly to the picturesque panorama and beauty above Buxton.

The Headstone Viaduct in Monsal Dale offers a truly enduring vista. It's a landscape that I never get tired of, love the walker in the scene giving it scale against the natural beauty of the dale. Viewing this scene never fails to evoke a sense of wonder, it remains a cherished viewpoint for many, Nature at it's best.

When you have a shot in your head and you keep going back to the same location time after time to try and capture that vision, that's what happened yesterday. Enhanced by amazing light filtering through the trees with misty and damp conditions between the showers, in a beautiful woodland just a two minute walk from home, persistence certainly pays off.

I have photographed Monsal Weir on the River Wye many times over the years. This time, I wanted a different composition from the normal riverbank shot, so I chose a low down river level perspective and wanted to photograph it when we had a dry spell, making the river clearer and less aggressive, very happy with the result.

I can't remember seeing so many stunning spring mornings like we've had over the last few weeks, especially in woodlands; they're in their prime at the moment.
