A little different post from me today ☺️ those of you who have known me long enough, will know my love for astrophotography. I initially started an Astro project back in 2013 but sadly an end was put to it when I had a major climbing fall which took me out for a considerable amount of time (I did manage to capture the Perseids meteor shower from my back garden on crutches during that time though 🤣).
Since then it’s been a case of ‘as and when’ I can get out to photograph the stars. So whilst we were in Pembrokeshire, with a few days of clear skies forecast, we made the effort to get as many shots of the milkyway as we possibly could. Starting with Carew Castle. The evening was a mix of emotions as the clouds kept drifting in and out but it did eventually clear up enough to capture this shot ☺️ I could have waited it out to get a shot with the milkyway more central but I got too cold and left to carry on capturing it whilst I headed back to the van for warmth 🤭
It was my first time doing Astro with my new camera and so far I’m very impressed 😁
