This photo was taken at the top of Mam Tor it’s a 517 m (1,696 ft) hill near Castleton in the High Peak of Derbyshire, England.

Beautiful views of the high peaks and I was lucky enough to catch the light show! I’m loving those sun rays ❤️ ⁣⁣⁣

Above ground Mam Tor reaches high above the Hope Valley and is a distinctive landmark when either walking or travelling in the area.⁣⁣⁣

When I’m out on a drive scouting locations for artwork, driving to Wales is always a place to capture some amazing lighthouse compositions. Just setting up on a few rocks on the edge of the coast line with the tide slightly coming in I’m making sure my tripod is secure, a half hour later it just becomes so surreal when the sunset plays it’s part with dreamy pink hues in the sky, just beautiful 😍 ⁣
⁣
What I really like in this capture other than the sunset, is the family standing in the centre of the frame, it was a rare scene it also adds scale to how huge the lighthouse actually is!! Check out the last pic in this series.

Just checking out a tilt shift effect in this post but the next few posts are of the same capture edited with a different colour scheme 📸⁣

If you like a good hike with scenic views then this place is definitely a must, just bring a pair of wellies with you as it can be muddy 🙌
