A new Whale Park has been established on a pristine viewpoint overlooking the Forth Estuary above the beach at . The old putting green that has lain largely disused is now a vibrant venue for whale watchers, locals and visitors alike - a picnic area with a panoramic view of the Forth, great artwork on the perimeter wall sets the scene, and information boards provide guidance on what can be seen, sightings of whales, dolphins, porpoises etc., and local history. A purpose built seating bench is now a popular venue for those who scan the Forth for visiting sea life, and catch a unique photograph. Set on the this is a growing venue for visitors hoping to stop and gaze over the estuary whatever their reason to do so - sometimes so busy it is difficult to find a seat!
