My name is Katie Cornford and I am a photographer based in Cornwall. I have lived my whole life here and love taking advantage of the beauty Cornwall has to offer.

After studying a three year photography degree at Plymouth College of Art, I have developed a passion for photographing people, both in a natural environment and staged settings.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of photographing this family through so many special chapters — Tate and Rhaena’s newborn sessions and first birthdays, their wedding, and their Christmases year after year.

So when Kayce came along, it was such a privilege to be there to capture these first precious days with him too. 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about watching a family grow in front of my camera, from one milestone to the next. I’m so grateful they continue to trust me with these memories. ✨

Back in May, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Zoe & Wallis’ beautiful wedding day, and what a day it was! ✨

From start to finish, the day was filled with so much love, laughter, energy, and the best vibes. There was music, tattoos, ice creams, happy tears, and so many unforgettable moments in between.

These are the weddings that remind me exactly why I love what I do. By the end of the day, it felt less like I’d been working and more like I’d spent the day celebrating with friends. ❤️

Playing catch-up on posting because I’ve been far too busy behind the camera to remember to share! 😂📸

Gorgeous Freddie came to see me for his newborn session at 9 weeks old, and he brought along his amazing big brother and sister too. 💙

Just look at those sibling cuddles and the love they already have for their baby brother – moments like these are exactly why I love what I do.

A little reminder that it’s never too late for newborn photos. Every stage brings something special – whether your baby is a few days old or a few weeks older, your gallery simply tells a different story. At 9 weeks, Freddie treated us to beautiful eye contact, gorgeous expressions and plenty of personality! ✨
