Funny how things come full circle… 🥃📸

I first met Kieran and Sarah when they were guests at Hannah and Louis’ wedding, and, naturally, I took a photo of them.

Fast forward two years and today it was finally their turn to get married. ❤️

Then this appeared…

A specially bottled single malt to mark their wedding day, complete with that very photograph I took of them all those years ago on the label.

From being two people in the background of someone else’s wedding story, to standing in front of my cameras for their own.

I bloody love this job. ❤️🥃

A little shoutout to all the couples getting married today, and every wedding supplier out there working in this heat! 🥵☀️

With temperatures potentially hitting 37°C, it’s going to be a seriously hot one.

Photographers, videographers, venue teams, coordinators, florists, caterers, DJs and everyone else keeping the show on the road, look after yourselves, drink plenty and grab five minutes in the shade whenever you can.

And to all the couples… have the most incredible day. Don’t worry if plans need to flex a little because of the heat, enjoy every minute of it. ❤️

Today wasn’t just another wedding…

It also happened to be my own wedding anniversary.

As I was leaving, Lauren & Ethan handed me this card.

I genuinely wasn’t expecting it, and it meant more than they’ll probably ever know.

Moments like this remind me that wedding photography is about so much more than taking photographs. It’s about being welcomed into one of the biggest days of someone’s life, and by the end of it, feeling like more than just another supplier.
