New Year, New Post.

Had a weekend down London visiting LTN, LGW & LHR. Was a very cold one with wall to wall sunshine all weekend

Been a while, that's for sure.

RIAT 2025. Spent Wednesday in the airfield park and view whilst Thursday & Friday was spent in the park and view off site, just over the road from the airshow grounds.

Some great weather for Wednesday, alas, shooting into the light the following days, so a lot of editing needed doing.

A bit of minimalist photography.

Taken from Portmeirion on Monday, just put my long lens on when I heard the Texan from round the coast line and out it popped heading inland from RAF Valley ZM325 on RFR74

Passing close to Manchester tonight, ZZ177 Boeing C-17 carrying HRH The Queen on her final flight from Edinburgh to Northolt.

I was about to give up as the flight path was taking HRH way East of the Manchester zone but over Burnley it turned right to come closer to us.

My dedication to HRH The Queen

May she rest in peace

Another historic one. This time from 2005 and Museo del Aire, Cuba.
Was quite lucky to get in as they had closed the gates before we got there but the guide we hired for the day persuaded the owner to open up and let us in. I believe now the museum is permanently closed
