Over the past few weeks I've been doing a lot of photo training for individuals and businesses. And everyone's needs are different. Sometimes you want help to make better use of the kit you've already invested in, or you might simply want to learn some of the features of your smartphone you don't know about.

If you're the latter, then this online session might be of interest to you. In an hour, I'll take you through some of the features your smartphone has, how to use them and suggest ways you could use to them to create better images for your social media content.

A trend I’ve noticed this year has been people asking for portraits that are a bit more natural, a bit less ‘look at the camera’ and more ‘captured at work’. This shot from a session in August is a good example. Here’s in action, part of a series of photos showing her working, chatting to clients, training and, basically, doing her job. Very different to a standard headshot, photos like this are great for your ‘About Me’ page, on social media posts and to illustrate what you and your business really are about.
